Didn't lugi say something to the effect of he did everything he could for SDSU, except maybe coach... referring to pushing marketing (The Al-o-meter) and Heisman and not focusing on coaching

Rather than rehash the really ugly recent past, I'd rather focus on a period of time when Aztec football was a force. And my favorite has to be Ronnie Smith, a WR on the '77 team. When asked what he liked most about being an Aztec..................the eloquent Mr. Smith replies "I likes goin' in!"

Drunk dude after Aztecs lost to BYU 45-44 after missing 2 point conversion after amazing 4 th quarter comeback, "luginbill must go" 690 kept him on hold for about 2 hours after the game and went to him after every call.
