As the founder and administrator of AztecMesa I have kept a low profile. (As AztecWilliam, not so low! 
) However, it is sometimes a good idea to clarify what is and is not acceptable on this board. Probably most registered users have already received this message, but I am posting it here so that it will be known to one and all.
It is my desire that we maintain a degree of civility on AztecMesa. That may not have been true in all cases recently. Feel free to disagree with other posters, but stay away from excessive rhetoric or strong language of a personal nature. One can express opposing views without becoming objectionable.
In other words, though you may feel someone is an idiot or dirtbag, please stop short of saying so in just those words. Such circumlocutions as "Why don't you &*@# yourself?! are likewise not helpful.
Robust debate and disagreement are perfectly okay.
There is another point I would like to make even more emphatically. Please do not carry on disputes based on something that was posted on AztecTalk.com. Instead, posts here should be either original threads or comments on threads posted by others on AztecMesa.proboards.com. (Of course, there is nothing to prevent anyone from beginning a thread whose subject is one found on another site.)
I started this site in the hopes that it would serve a useful purpose and trust that these simple guidelines will help make it so.
Comments regarding these issues or anything else about AztecMesa are welcome.
