Other than hoping for an apparent ineligible Pelle to become eligible and an already reclassified January to re-reclassify to 2012 (which he cannot do), I've seen really nothing from our "insiders" about who we are pursuing. Are there any potential impact graduating transfers that would be immediately eligible? It has been eerily silent on the home front and I was hoping for some semi-solid leads...Or, are we resigned to using it for a player in 2013? I'd love to add an experienced physical upper class big man to the roster. Thanx!

I still think it will be used on a D-1 transfer who will have to sit out - hopefully someone who just completed their freshman year (similar to O'Brien, Polee, Thames, Rahon, etc.) It really makes the most sense and has been a big reason for SDSU's success. There will be 3 (Tapley, Rahon, Stephens) scholorships available for 2013, so I could see Fisher holding it for 2013 unless he gets a top D-1 transfer. I really don't think there is going to be an impact player that can come in this year and contribute - unless we get another Grad Student (like Green).

Daniels transferring in from UCONN? He could play immediately, right? ;D Maybe not so far fetched: "Transferring makes sense for [UCONN players] because if the tourney ban remains, there is a stipulation by the NCAA that Husky players will be able to leave UConn and become immediately eligible to compete for another school in the 2012-13 season rather than have to sit out a season under regular NCAA transfer rules." www.thesportsbank.net/college-bball/alex-oriakhi-the-beginning-of-several-uconn-players-leaving-program/

He could leave. People think he won't though. He has 3 years of eligibility and took his time in his recruitment. He waited it out and weighed in all the options..He loves Calhoun. Plus, with Roscoe Smith transferring out he's looking at a starter role next season.

Gotta believe fish has something in the works. Why would A.Willams leave if we aren't going to make a move? Otherwise he would have just finished out his tenure and that scolly would still be available for 2013, unless it is totally true that he left on his own. Maybe Pelle can't qualify, who really knows but I think they must have something else planned.

I would guess it's Pelle or goes unused.
Maybe we can offer it as a prize to the winner of the TecPride vs AztecTom game.

Is a 'SOLID RUMOR' anything like a coprolite?

If it gets used for a transfer having to sit out it will have to be a great player would be my guess, I think they will use it on a transfer in same situation as Garrett Green or on Pelle.
