It was Jordan Rodgers. He was talking to pelle about prep schools.

He already re-classified anyway so no, not happening. He was a 2011 recruit, didnt qualify, went prep and is officially a 2012 recruit. If he doesnt qualify for a school this fall, its JC, Overseas, etc.

Its not suprising when he tweets "I don't got no offers". It hurts my eyes just to read it.

Talented kid--Will never get eligible to play in the NCAA.. Will reclassify in route to the inevitable path of trying and failing to qualify until he gives up and has a successful overseas BB career.
To quote Survalli back when it was believed Pelle was going to UNLV(until Pelle soured on UNLV after they recruited over him by landing Birch): "not sure why your all smiles. now that we are out of the loop, i'll give you my opinion of the guy. Headcase. he'll never qualify. waste of a scholarship, guy is possibly manic depressive "

Does anyone know his exact academic problems? Not enough core classes GPA wise? Does he have a passing SAT score? Why doesn't he play JC ball instead for a year or two?

Okay, so here is what I know about the schooling, but I have no verification that any of this is true.
On the sliding scale (meaning GPA and SAT) he could not qualify. He has the units, if he didn't have the units it would have been pointless to go to prep school. Prep school, as far as my understanding is to shore up GPA to adjust the sliding scale. JC is for a guy who won't qualify unit wise (in most cases). Since he is out of high school he can't take the SAT again, so that score would stand. The only way to move up the sliding scale is on the GPA side.
Two things could have happened out of prep school. A, it was a long shot to get his GPA up, meaning he would have needed near perfect grades to adjust the scale to qualify. or B, he didn't put in the work. No clue which might have been the case. But he can't go back to prep school.
Either way, he isn't going to qualify, which means his only route is JC, Overseas, or what many people have missed, NAIA.

To answer your question, yes and no. Yes, there are some out there, but if we aren't already on them it is too late.

Seems to be the best option for that last scholorship is a D1 transfer that sits out this season (like we have had pretty much every year for a while now). While it would be nice to get some quality size, that just isn't going to happen (as Bekay points out) and depth shouldn't be a problem this year. Seems like there should be some transfer options out there.
As far as Pelle (and even Alec Williams) Cal State San Marcos would be a good option as they both could play right away and it seems like that is the route they are taking.
