Defense is his greatest strength, he might be the best wing defender in this class.

What is with the list of the highest rated recruits in SDSU history. That is not close to a list of those. Both Franklins, for instance, were rated as 90 by ESPN. I honestly had tears from laughter after reading this list. DJ Gay? Billy White? Franklins? ANYBODY FROM BEFORE 2008??! Alec Williams is the 7th best recruit in San Diego State history? Deshawn is the 5th?

I watched the video above, and he's an interesting mix of ballplayer. Interesting that of a guy 6'8" there wasn't a single dunk in that video. Some clean up offensive rebounds he put back as lay ups, lots of perimeter stuff (12-15' out) and lots of passing, but no dunks. How are his defensive skills? If he can defend, he's going to be an interesting match up. He dunks with ease. He isnt super explosive, but I would say above average for sure.

Winston aka WINSANITY. Oldie Out Oldie, No matter how many times you float that new word - it will never take. It is stupid. You see, there is already this guy in the NBA named 'Lin'. They made "Linsanity" a thing with him. So, Winston doesn't deserve some second hand used up name - he deserves his own. Besides the fact that Linsanity represents a flash in the pan fad that lasted about 5 days. Winston is going to have his own thing - he doesn't want to be a Lin follow-on. What a dumb name - "Winsanity" Back to the drawing board Oldie.

He dunks with ease. He isnt super explosive, but I would say above average for sure. Maybe I need to qualify my statement regarding the previous video I watched, in which there were no dunks. My point was that many highlight videos are 70% dunks. The guy is 6'8" tall, of of course he can dunk! I liked the other video because it showed "the rest of his game". Wish highlight videos did that more!

Welcome to the family Winston...sometimes disfunctional, but hey, what family isn't? Great things are coming our way and you will be a major part of that. Now, get to work and don't forget to tell all the future prospects from Findlay how great it is to be an Aztec!
