Based on what I've seen this season to date, I'm trying to see how we can get to 6 wins. My earlier enthusiam (I predicted 5 wins fairly easily and a good shot at 6) was perhaps unwarranted.
Well, we just stopped Idaho and forced a punt. 14-3. The Spuds simply cannot be allowed to score again this quarter.

Fumble lost deep in Aztec territory. Damn! This is starting to look like a Chuck Long team. And against Idaho. The Spuds may be better, but not that much better.
There we just evaded an 18 point deficit due to an Idaho pen. Bad.

FG makes it 20-10. a TD would have been worse, but letting Idaho score again is not good.
How good is Idaho? If you think they are a WAC contender, then we are not so bad. But who believes that? If Aztecs cannot dominate 2nd half we must get ready for a long rebuilding process since the team is probably even farther from being respectable than many of us thought. A long process means we may half to wait until 2011 to see Aztecs in a bowl game.

We need to come out and score first. I don't like how things are going.
Chuck Longs team beat these guys by "30" points last year......30!!!! Same players for them.....Same player for us.
Where is the intensity....Where is leadership......Where is this coaching staff?
We still have a shot. We must come out fired up and play ball damnit!!!!
