The nice thing is all of the Aztec QBs have the ability to run for yardage when pressured.

Since you never answered the other poster, I'll re-ask the question. How many times have you actually since Morin play?

Kids a sleeper and someone I think will stick at QB. I have been talking him up for a couple weeks now on the ASR boards. Below is a link to Chase's senior highlights on HUDL. For those unfamilar with HUDL, it blows youtube highlights out of the water in clarity. FYI, most of our 2012 class have the senior highlights up there. www.hudl.com/athlete/76019/chase-favreau

Yes...all of the scouts and football gurus continue to rank this kid high. And the SDSU coaches like him and offer him. But they are all wrong? You....only YOU know how to evaluate a QB.

All greyshirt means is you don't take a full load of classes so your eligibility clock doesn't start. So, they are coming in this semester the same as Morin (and we imagine Chase will next year) with 5 years to play 4.

They aren't allowed to practice or lift with the teams right? Whats the point...advantage besides injury.

They aren't allowed to practice or lift with the teams right? Whats the point...advantage besides injury. They get to start fully participating in team activities at the conclusion of the Fall (or start of Spring) semester. Gives them a half-year headstart (at least) plus... they're still "around" the team for the Fall.

I was under the impression that grey shirts were not able to be on campus at all until the spring? They could take a couple of classes at a JC in the fall so long as they weren't considered full time.

Yes that was my impression no contact with the team,
6 units at sdsu 6 units at jc
but why not red shirt and be able to lift go to practices etc...I don't get the grey shirt thing.
