Obviously a pretty solid class, Kazee has been more than solid, Escobar and Hillman speak for themselves. Tenhaeff has been solid, Preston King, IMO, would have had a great career. McFadden is a stud, one of the top corners in the nation. A lot of impact guys in this class.

Yeah, I think Pinkins and Kazee will be added to the starter and or all conference list by the end of this year.

Great class. Might be a good idea to list or try to list why they're gone, such as early entry or career ending injury vs. quitting/transferring, etc

With one glaring exception: wide receiver. The almost complete dearth of production from the four hurt us badly in 2011. I'd like to see James' opinion of the 2007 class. Mine is that although there were a few studs, most of the rest of that class turned out to be really, really bad.

We've been in reactionary mode for years with throwing tons of scholly at specific positions, getting a glut of a position, and then we have to shy away. Now we have tons of WR underclassman eating scholly, the last couple years had lots of lineman that took slots (a lot weren't on the roster, but lost the opportunity cost with taking so many). Need to start stabilizing to lessen the waves

I defenitely expect Tenhauff to step up and become an impact player this year with more PT. I still see potential in Driver too. When he is on the field he hits hard, he has never been able to earn enough PT to make an impact though.

It's interesting the %age of players who either didn't make it in or left after one yr averages out to roughly 26%. Don't know if that's good or bad or what, if anything, it says about our recruiting.

I'm ignorant here, but where did Stevens go?

That was the class without a single O linemen. Brady Hoke said they didn't have enough time to research that position and just offering anyone would have been a mistake.

I think Walter Kazee and Nick tenhaeff are clearly a cut above the other "role players" on the list. They are more like "part time starters" or something like that.

Wonder what Anthony Miller's deal was. I don't remember an injury. He was talked about highly when signed, then he just never panned out.

Preston King would've been an oustanding WR for us if it weren't for the very unfortunate heart condition. I follow OC HS football and was lucky enough to see him play on TV and in person. One of the best instinctive players I've ever seen. Versus some of the best competition in the nation he would be the best player on the field.
