Medical Care for those over seventy should have as a top priority the easing of pain when somebody is terminal. Whatever pain medication costs they should not skimp on it. I saw one older friend pass in pain because the hospital did not want him to become addicted to the pain killer. That was absolutely the stupidest thing I had ever heard of in my life (at the time). I have seen dumber things since then, but I do not want to sidetrack this string.
