I have recently heard that Isaac Hamilton would like to play PG in college. In his videos he looks like a solid passer but doesnt seem to have the handles for the 1. Perhaps a possessional PG, but not full time. Anybody who has seen him hoop... thoughts here???

the Hamilton brothers look rather slow off the dribble.

I have only seen him play twice but would agree his handles are pretty good for a 2 guard but not that great for a point that has to get the ball through pressure; his best position is definitely at the 2 but I am sure if it takes him playing some point to land him Fisher and Bland will make the promise.

Yeah I saw that, I know we are also on Trey a bit still too but I can't see any of these 3 getting offers at this stage unless a guard transfers out. The problem with the two you meantioned is they are a package deal and SDSU will in no way bring in two more guards.

I've been wondering if there is a chance that Fish and Bland have possibly talked to Trey about going to Prep School for a year... we will have more scholarships available in 2013 as well as more guard positions to fill. Just a thought. We lose 4 to graduation after next season (Tapley, Rahon, Stephens, Williams)... I could see a potential 2013 class of Roschon Prince, Isaac Hamilton, Jordan Bell and Trey Dickerson. Never know... I think the staff might be more focused on Randolph and/or Rodgers at PG though. Yeah I saw that, I know we are also on Trey a bit still too but I can't see any of these 3 getting offers at this stage unless a guard transfers out. I should have a profile piece on Trey Dickerson uploaded to socalrecruitspot.blogspot.com/ later today.

wonder if one of the BB coaches went down to N.O. with the football team and chatted with some of the guys from the South East area- couldn't hurt- plus establish some contacts with Marshal down there,

On twitter Dwayne Polee tweeted to Roschon to "commit already and quit playin" in which Roschon responded that he needs to see our progression, he heard we were in a new conference.
Not to say that this move is gonna hurt, its too early to tell for sure. At the very least, we know for sure it will take some serious convincing from Bland and crew to keep these kids interested.

I’m not too concerned because as soon as these kids see they’ll be on national TV more times in one year at SDSU then four years at UNLV and NM combined it won’t matter. Plus, as you can see from the recent ESPN best student section talk UNLV and NM aren’t even mentioned. There’s more to it than the conference otherwise why not just go to the PAC-12 or ACC. MW teams will make fun of our conference as everyone runs from their conference. Then they’ll defend the merger of the MW and CUSA instead of being a desperate act for teams being left out in the rain. Maybe they’ll talk about how they once were a three bid league but now just a one or two. We are and still will be the best basketball program on the west coast.
