Could be, but I doubt it. Aztecs will win, but they'll back off before it gets that big. Nothing against Baja Utah State, and nothing against Hoke, but I don't think any coach since Coryell has gone for the jugular like that. No, not even Gilbert.

Chuck Long would have beat them by at least 25 (see Idaho last year).
Brady Hoke sure as hell better....And he will.
Aztecs win by "at least" 25, maybe more.

I can't see an SUU win, but I can imagine a closer game than is generally anticipated; something on the order of 31-14 (with one SUU TD coming on a fluke play such as an INT or an Aztec fumble of a punt deep in our territory.)
I'll predict a score close to 38-10, though the Aztec winning margin could be greater. Hoke may not want to run up the score, but I think the Aztecs should try hard to make an emphatic statement in this game.

Well, 35-19 is a comfortable win but I don't think it qualifies as the "blowout" many thought was going to happen.
Went soft in the 4th quarter, it looks like. What happened to "play hard for 60 minutes"?

No blowout, for sure. Still, a 16 point win is acceptable.
However! That 4th quarter was not encouraging. A better team, and I would think that Idaho in their barn is better, might have pulled one out against the sub-par play of the Aztecs toward the end.
Right now I am a bit nervous about our chances. I was pretty sure we would win 6 with an outside . . . very far outside . . . chance of winning 7. Now? I just don't know. Five wins might be the best we can do.
This program has a long way to go even to be a mid-MWC competitor. I'm now thinking that we might not make a bowl game until 2011, and only then if the Aztecs can improve their recruiting, especially in terms of O an D linemen.
