Per Facebook, the men's hoops schedule will be uploaded to Goaztecs.com shortly. We will host BYU on 2-26 and it will be shown nationally on CBS...yes...CBS! No "College Sports" after the letters CBS.  |

With Jimmer and what should be a loaded, rolling Aztec team, that will be a game that hoops fans will want to check out across the country |

Half the conference games listed are on national TV that is not theMTN. With a huge game versus BYU on FEB 26 to be televised on CBS. Yes, that CBS. That could be the game that decides the MWC regular season Champion. 5 of the 6 Versus and CBSC games are on the road. But the big one on CBS is at home. |

Road games and a big matchup with Gonzaga to open non-conference; road games and a big home matchup with UNLV. Totally pumped over that CBS game, need to recreate that St. Mary's NIT quarters feel.

I was thinking the exact same thing. That should be a very important game reguarding the standings and a very important game for recruiting. Sellout is a no brainer but 11:00 AM sucks. |

It does suck for the fans, but that is prime time for college sports. National TV game on daddy CBS, against BYU, could be for the league title, or a big time resume game, it should be electric. Great chance to showcase the university, just like TCU's 1st quarter throttling last year against I think it was Utah, and this is on nat. tv down the bball home stretch, so even better. |

Another major reason for the national CBS broadcast: bicycle helmets. Look for a lot of discussion about that stuff leading up to the game...

I didn't even think about that .... the chance to embarrass our school on national television.
This amazing opportunity could swing either way. Our team could have a great performance and we win ... but nationally they only talk about our fans and not our team at all. Do the obnoxious people who dress up even wake up before noon anyway? We're probably fine.

I hope everyone is in bicycle gear, I hope everyone stands the whole f'n game. That is the type of environment that gets this coup for the MWC (props to the hair) and that will perpetuate this program. A great chance to show off a jail house atmosphere for recruits and prospective students. Late morning shots of SDSU's campus from blimp and set pieces, berserk student section, rockin' pep band, PA Dude dropping some high pitched, 'for threeeeeee' and hopefully Billy with a gangster dunk or two -- will be a great day to be an Aztec. |
