The time to debate is essentially past us. The time for social upheaval and extreme violence is soon to arrive. Might as well get on with it if it's gonna happen. I figure Joe is just trolling, hope you are too. Civil war is the most awful thing that can happen to a country.

I don't agree with this article. Especially when they say to hate people of color.

What you will see in the coming year is an increase in brutal home invasions and smash and grab robberies. Armed robbery on the street will skyrocket. Jobs and a sense of self worth keep men away from crime. We have destroyed Thirty Million Jobs and they do not look to be starting up soon. Men without work can become quite violent.

Here's another fact which virtually no one knows. The only National Guard unit to be on active full time duty is in Alaska.(I think it has something to do with air defense.) As governor, Sarah had access to intelligence of a higher classification than his either McCain or Obama. I don't say that such experience made her super qualified in terms of national security. I do say that it gave her much better qualifications than Obama. AzWm William, I call bull$#!+. Please provide a link. There is absolutely no way that the Governor of a state has a higher security clearance than a U.S. Senator.

Though I sincerely doubt that she would have more access to information than anybody above her in National Government, I can not discount the fact that she had the right to activate the National Guard of her state to deal with emergencies either real or imagined.

Too Funny! The Democrats so wanted to avoid debate of any subject that might arise when considering this bill, they opted to put it up for vote in the Congress with some arcane rule that eliminated debate but needed 2/3 majority to pass. And they are pissed that a 1/3 minority decided to block this NY boondoggle! news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_upshot/20100730/hl_yblog_upshot/rep-anthony-weiner-blasts-republicans-on-house-floor-for-defeating-911-responder-health-fundSo who wants debate again? And who wants silence? The reality is that the Democrats are deathly afraid to have to vote up or down on an illegal imigration enforcement law that would allow AZ to do what it needs to do under SB 1070. So look for them to avoid debate until post election November.

Here is something on that issue. www.nationalreview.com/corner/168599/commander-alaskan-national-guard-contd/jonah-goldbergI continue to maintain that Sarah Palin had more and better experience in areas relevant to serving as POTUS than did Barack Obama. I'm still waiting for someone to explain in what way Obama was qualified to be President. Qualified to be a wildly popular public personality, perhaps, but that is not what I'm talking about. Oh, yes, here's one more important point. Attacking Sarah Palin does not count as defending Obama's qualifications to serve as President. AzWm

Republicans like debate and open information.
In order to conduct that open conversation, on their terms, they try to misdirect and funnel the conversation toward inflammatory topics as sexuality, the pursuit of no taxes, terrorism and religion. They choose simple easy to grasp, inflammatory subjects where they can force those who disagree into defensiveness, complex responses and drive their supporters into a frenzy fear. Now there is a frigging conversation.
Do not be mistaken. Conservatives love a free exchange of ideas when the conversation focuses on their priorities. If the national conversation drifts from their focus, they get all irritated and defensive. Just ask one if they think carbon dioxide is opaque to heat radiation!
I know this is heresy, but Republicans refuse to acknowledge that there are other problems to be addressed. They want to talk about only what they want to talk about. Their conversation is a distraction from what is really wrong and an attempt to ignore solutions that will anger their slowly shrinking base.

Yes, Win. It most certainly does fit some liberals, just as there are some conservatives who are interested in resolving real problems. We need to get past the bull sh-- and work to resolve this country's problems.
