Yes it could be huge news, but I don't blame you because we have had these things happen before that end up being nothing. Let's wait and see.

Kids verbally commit all the time. It doesn't have anything to do with signing a LOI. They say they're going to attend a school, it's not binding & they end up changing their mind a great deal of the time. This is great news! He could end up changing his mind in the next year & a half but kids don't verbally commit unless they really like the school. Considering the caliber of recruit we're talking about this is a momentous occurrence. Great job Coach Fish!

This is where he made it obvious it's not true, Isaac Hamilton is a 2013 recruit and cannot sign his letter of intent for 13 months. Furthermore I checked his facebook and it showed nothing of sort that he has commited. It is simply false. www.facebook.com/people/Isaac-Hamilton/100000538274036

Terrific news if true. Would be awesome if we could get his little bro too. I saw Fisher giving his parents a tour at Qualcomm during either the Cal Poly or WSU game. FYI, I think he is good friends with Pelle (they played on the same AAU team). Let's hope for a package deal! And Pelle was a H.S. teammate of Skylar Spencer (already an SDSU commit).

This dude is clearly a liar. Never posted before, posting false information and about LOI and Isaac Hamilton's facebook says nothing of the sort. Lock this thread.

When FB upgraded, you can control which of your friends can see your status updates. So simply looking at his FB Wall, even if you're friends, won't allow you to see the alleged update that iluvsdsu said Hamilton posted. Secondly, even though Hamilton is in the 2013 class, he can officially commit to a school as early as he wants as long as it is during official signing periods. Just look at the 2013 class here and you'll see that two players have already committed to schools (one as early as 2010). espn.go.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/playerrankings/_/state/california/class/2013/view/stateThat's what got me guarded. iluvsdsu says we will find out come Monday. Hamilton can verbal to SDSU all he wants next week, but he can't OFFICIALLY do so until November 16th (the 2nd Wednesday of Nov).

Commiting verbally and signing are 2 different things, Isaac Hamilton can not sign a LOI untill November of 2012.

I don't understand all the hate, why would he come on this board to lie about what he saw. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he was just passing on some good news. If the kid doesn't commit on Monday it doesn't mean it won't happen, we are on his list.

If this is legit, this could be huge. Would love to welcome Hamilton to the mesa. Playing in front of The Show sure would be fun! We'll just have to see if this for real or not. Just need to land his buddy Pelle and link up the buddies of Pelle/Spencer/Hamilton. Would be fun to watch that combo!
