Michelle Bachmann promises hearings and impeachment trials if republicans win the house and senate majority in '10 Great! We need jobs and the republicans just want to have more impeachment trials that will cost tax payers a lot of $$$$$$$'s and they will do nothing about jobs. Bush and the republicans almost ruined this country. Obama saved it. Do not let the republicans win in 2010. All they want is to continue to say no to progress and try to bring the President Of The United States down. I am pretty sure she and Sarah Palin have teamed up to promote mental illness and tooth decay in Democrats and their children.
You guys are so shallow! If Dems lose big in November there will be no impeachment or any such things unless Obama got a lame duck session to pass more bill harmful to the United States. Get over it and stop reading the talking points.
I think the main theme of that short sound bite was defunding ObamaCare. I don't think that mainstream Republicans have impeachment on the agenda, but just say things like that to stir up the base.
I suggest you look at the polling data on the website you linked. I agree that things look bleak for Democrats, but do not worry about impeachment unless Obama does something even dumber than he has so far.

The republicans only want revenge and they do not want to solve any problems. Other then reducing taxes for those who make over $250K and above. Oh yes, that means only a tax cut on the $1 above the $250K line and not a tax cut on the $250K earned.
Lok at Fox news making up stories and not retracting them when they are called out for lying!!! The right is full of lies and I am pissed that about their lies and I am going to take it anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Elections in non Presidential Election years tend to swing towards the party that is out of power. To the Republicans I say this, there are many things that the Great Visionary Obama (GVO) can do to catch the public's imagination. Claiming to have erased Five Trillion in Federal Debt by October while the Republicans are ballyhooing the increase in spending will probably be the key issue.
Another issue of note will be all of the millions on the Dole. They are sucking on the government Teat for free and will most certainly vote for the Teat Minder. Teat Minders are Democrats. Provided the Teat Suckees are not too lazy to go out to vote, the Democrats should hold onto their seats come November.

I hope the right wing nutcases do win in 2010. The country needs to be reminded how stupid they are. Part of the reason Obama won in 2008 was seeing Sarah Palin on the GOP national ticket. After seeing the rightwing nutcases run around Congress doing nothing but make trouble the vast middle of the country will re-elect Obama and a Democratic Congress in 2012. The nutcases will have to go back to trying to seize school boards so they can outlaw the teaching of the theory of evolution. None of that science stuff now.  |

And another side effect of the WH and Democrat idiocy of Obama care unfunded mandates on the states, their do-nothing plan on illegal immigration, their wasteful spending, their generational theft for the sake of vote getting bribes, exploding the national debt, shunning Capitalism in favor of expanding Socialism, etc., etc.), will result in the State Houses going GOP in a big way. So much for Rahm Emanuel and the 2010 Census he was overseeing and the Democrat's hopes for a redistricting power play.

Big business owns politians both right and left. It is fair to say that Obama is also influenced by big business as well. However he is trying to make some changes that will benefit most Americans. Nothing radical as what Chavez did in Venezuela but he is trying to help the average American without trying to starve out big business. I would call that middle of the road and not left handed politics.
However the crazy extreme right wingers are making out like Obama is Stalin. In fact some republicans in congress thought Obama was being to harsh on BP! Can you imagine that! They are in favor of a foreign corporation polluting the USA then in favor of their own country's president making them only pay financially to help solve this mess. No prison time for BP but just paying fines!
To add to that there have been only a handfull of Republicans that will work with the President and congress. The majority are fighting everything he does. They are stalling recovery so they can win in 2010. If they win then they will just try to leaglly kill remaining dems by going for impeachment.
Corporations will then get tax breaks and hire workers over seas to cut on labor costs.
The US average person will lose if Republicans win in 2010.
