Not exactly what I said. However, I did welcome Spartacus over for a refreshing beverage. If he/she/whatever has the appetite for other, just a bad choice for Sparti. Ha, yeah, I totally misinterpreted "come tell at B-2 anytime f****** PUNK!" and the well written follow-up "you know where *****." Classic

The officiating was fine. The home team got a slight edge on a few calls which happens in every game. Lindley's throws, WR drops, and Hillman's fumble did them in. Michigan is exactly the team I thought they would be. No offense outside of Denard and a defense that is suspect. I thought SDSU could beat that team, apparently I was wrong. michian was who we thought they were! And we let em off the hook!

I love the comments about Lindley locking in on the primary target and not being able to find the open receiver.
You don't go 4 games with only 1 pick if you're locking in on your receiver, especially with as many sideline passes as the Aztecs throw. He's not accurate, but he's been very good at throwing to the correct receiver since about the midpoint of last season.

Overall the entire team simply was not tough enough to compete at the level Rocky and the rest of us are looking for. It wasn't bad play calling or officiating. That's a weak excuse to overlook our own faults. It was both of our lines being dominated and Lindley looking like a deer in headlights. It's happened to him before, he's still an excellent QB. It happens when your big guys are being tossed into the backfield right at you--I was surprised on a few of the replays at just how badly some of our folks were being pushed around. Lindley didn't help himself yesterday but I think he'll get a shot at the pro's. Whether he sticks or not is another question. That will depend on how quick of a learner he is and how fast he matures. He has the tools. The Fred Noonan School of Navigation.

Lindley has the size, the arm, and plenty of games under his belt in a pro-style offense so there's no question he'll get a shot. I believe he only got sacked one time, so it's not like they were getting to him a bunch. His inability to hang in the pocket and deliver when the pass rush was close has likely squashed any idea of him being a 1st rounder.

The paucity of sacks on Lindley is misleading. Two posters who to my knowledge don't communicate with each other pointed out to me a week or two ago how Lindley hasn't been holding the ball as long as he once did. I've been paying attention and as examples, the last couple games on several occasions when he's been rushed he's just thrown the ball at the feet of his blocking back. My guess is he's under marching orders to do that and if so, I'm not criticizing the strategy since we don't have a backup who's taken more than a dozen snaps in a real game. I'm just saying that the fact sacks are way down does not necessarily indicate the offensive line is playing that much better.

After reading several threads about how horrible, terrible Lindley is I have to say you are some of the same people who kiss his ass after he has a great game. Your either on board with Lindley or not. Some of you people remind me of those assholes who get in fights at sporting events and keep kicking the guy in the head when he's already knocked out. If he's terrible or not he is the starting QB and will be the rest of the season. He is human and will have a bad game as ever one does, unfortunately it was against Michigan and his former coach. As for the officiating, at first I thought they were biased but when you watch the replays of the holding time after time you can see they were not. I will admit Lindley gets squeamish when he has a rush on him and hurries his throws. We just have to find a way to give him more time. Next season we will have a more mobile QB in Jeffries and Dingwall. We all need to move on from this and stop with the negative comments. This is an open blog and I understand you have a right to your opinion, but don't you think the one person who knows and wishes he could do it over again is Lindley ?

He seems to be lacking the poise of a first rounder once he feels some heat. He seems to be letting the ball go to early at times. This is why there's alot of overthrown balls and simply bad passes in general. It makes me wonder how well he would do if he were playing in the Big 10 or 12, or even the Pac 12, everyday. I think he's very good, but the poise thing is hanging over his head in my opinion. He could drop in the draft board because of this.

Receivers are extremely important...we are seeing the effects of losing two NFLers in Lindley's performance, but I am not down on our QB like many of you are. He is very talented but doesnt have anyone to throw to....our receivers are running routes not in the playbook! They seem like the don't know what in the hell to do. Has to be frustrating for Lindley. I say let's not pin the loss on him. The OC was sleeping and the Michigan D capitalized on our inability to throw the ball. this. coaching can help.

Let's move on. The TCU game is important not the Michigan game (we are 3-1 OOC). Too much was made of this game.
TCU is the one worth winning not Michigan.
Beat the Hornfrogs!!! Go Aztecs!!!
