Very good pick up. Other local chippers will surely take notice especially passing on the likes of Oregon, Wisconsin and WSU.

Wait and see if rivals doesn't lower it to 2 stars just by choosing us. <-- Sarcasm...

Nice! State's offensive line should be good for a while.

It's this continuity of strength on the OL that shows future RB/QB we're serious about winning and protecting their careers. A QB will feel better about the protection/time to throw and RBs will feel better about the blocking/open running lanes.

You have to give it up to the SDSU coaches for 3 very good recruits in Miller, Maas, and Flores for the OL.
Beating out Pac 10 teams for players is an accomplishment that SDSU should do more of with continued success. Line of site to playing time is a major selling point for SDSU against the Pac 10
Miller is a very good prospect.

I remember this kid on the prep pigskin report. Great talent. If we had added the big OL from O-side then we might have the beginnings of the greatest line in the history of state.

This is another guy that has various sizes depending on which site you look at. I am excited for 2013 but let's get some 6'7" defensive linemen too who are around 300 with 4.8 speed. I'm happy with what we are getting. Miller will be a potential Pro in six years. He will get the attention and development that he needs right here are San Diego State. We have got a fantastic coaching staff.

We have got a fantastic coaching staff. It's very early but it sure looks that way so far.
Agreed! No better example is Dillon Baxter. How many carries have we seen him make at USC?!

Coach Shacklett played for the Aztecs back in the day That's awesome. Coach Shack pimping SDSU. Also gotta give kudos to Miller's high school coach Damon Baldwin and his Aztecs ties.
You really DON'T want 6'7" DL. That is way too tall. Remember Too Tall Jones from Dallas? He was the exception, but normally you want DT a bit shorter since they need the leverage. How about 6'4" and 290?

I was a little worried about Baldwin's SDSU ties, because he left under some not so great circumstances.
That said, securing kids like Miller, Flores, Maas, and Morin is really a great start to the Rocky Long era building on the momentum from last year.

"The Aztecs are stacked with juniors on the offensive line so while Miller is unlikely to be a starter as a freshman, he is definitely likely to see major minutes as a sophomore." Draheim-senior, Gunther-senior, Rivera-senior, Matamua- senior, Gauld and Miller-juniors. I only see 4 juniors total. Is stacked with juniors really accurate? I think not. Of course, I may have forgotten someone. Hang in there, Matt

How about 6'4" and 290? During the Luginbill era, DEs Jamal Duff and Ramondo Stallings were both 6ft 7 each, strong and quick. I remember they did a decent job against USC and Minnesota back in the day. They went on to have decent NFL careers. Oldie Out

DL can always use big and fast methinks. Who do we have to replace Jerome Long next year? How many passes do our DEs knock down?
