When have we come anywhere close to being 79-37 in "AA" ? Our minor leagues were rated #8 by baseball America at the beginning of the season. When was the last time we were that high? Things have changed. Our minor leagues are not what they use to be just a couple of years ago. We use to have one player or maybe two that we were high on but the depth was not there. Now there are a score of players we expect to be good in the majors. So if 1/4 fail we still have a good haul of quality performers. 1/4 fail rate before meant we were done. Loddy Dah and Dipty Doo.....whatever. 1/4 fail rate? Yeah right Show me guys. Show me when you get to the bigs you produce and are good enough to stay while the Pads hang at or near the top of the division. You need vision for that. Things are changing and you can't see it because you have no ability to see other than high level history. You are like the folks who bought a house in 2008 or E-Stocks in 1999.

Bill, the more you type the more I truly think that you've got your head up your ass. If I didn't have a vision, I would have never started my business. I already said that maybe the future looks bright. The difference is that you f'ing believe your nonsense that their a correlation to what the minor league successes do in the majors. What's 1/4 failure rate? Seriously dude. I want to see a minor league system with only a 1/4 failure rate. Get a job w/ the Missions, Tucson Toros or whatever. And when your team sits in last place you'll be spinning some bull$#!+ that nobody will believe but you. Oh yeah I forgot, you want to add artificial turf to Petco's infield to increase run production. WTF!!!!!

You already said "Maybe"? That's the way to go out there on a limb, Bruce.

It Texas promoted relievers like Bass and Spense, they could have saved themselves from trading a couple of future starters. I am sure they would have been very pleased. The question was "stellar" performance in the bigs. I'm not talking about the future and the minor leagues. I like Bass a lot and saw him a few times in Elsinore. But, he hasn't been w/ the Pads enough games to even consider him in answering my questions. What's the C hitting? STellar? How many games? The future "may be" bright but just because they're playing well in Texas has virtually little bearing on what they'll do here. History shows that, just in case you haven't been paying attention. Virtually little? I didn't know you had that good a sense of humor.
