Watch his show. He has called Obama a Fascist and a Communist and insists that Obama and the Progressives are interested in nothing less that Authoritarian rule. You sometimes do the same thing, but you're mostly trolling. He is not. =Bob What do you have to say about the factual points he makes to support his "name calling"? When does "name calling" change to "accurate labeling"? Unpleasant as it may be to you, it seems that Beck is pretty accurate in the way he presents his "allegations" or "statements of fact". Offering a fact and then interpreting it in a paranoid manner is not presenting the truth. =Bob |

I don't have to have some jerk on cable TV tell me that. But no, I won't watch his show. I used to watch that crap up until about four or five years ago. I can remember "Crossfire" with Michael Kinsley and veins on his pencil-neck standing out, screaming over the other guy, and Chrissy Matthews asking a question and immediately screaming out the answer himself while spewing spit all over himself. O'Reilly was always a pompous ass, and I doubt he's gotten any better. I don't know if Obama is a Fascist, but considering the government's vastly increasing influence on private industry, I'd say he's behaving like one. |

I do remember a post =Comrade Perfesser put up some years ago about "Hannity". He went on a totally alcohol-fueled rant about how he wanted to meet him in a dark alley so he could beat him up. I have never stated that I wanted to meet anyone in a dark alley so I could beat that person up. I'd challenge you to offer a link, but since it was "some years ago", your response would be that you can't find one. =Bob You were probably drunk. I've referenced it before. I'm not going to years back into the archives of the old board just to find it. You either know you did say it, or you forgot because you had too many Tecates. |

Back to the topic at hand, Beck is now claiming that the GE building (and Rockefeller Plaza in general) have statues and art work that show Communist/fascist/whatever messages. Sounds like he's heading into Trilateral Commission/Club of Rome territory. Of course, the damn fool doesn't realize that the building he broadcasts from is part of Rockefeller Plaza and was designed by the same architect as the GE building.
