Counts Per Minute. (CPM)
Radiation in San Diego has soared to nearly 200 counts per minute as of yesterday. Normal is 12 to 18 CPM. Radiation causes cell damage. More radiation causes more cell damage.
People living in the mountain areas of the United States usually have a far higher CPM background than people in San Diego. (Usually 3 Times higher)
That is not the case now, as we are twice that of Colorado. If you live in the mountains you usually have a far greater number of Thyroid problems that is usually caused by background radiation. Where you live has a strong influence on your medical problems. If you move out of the mountains because of thyroid problems, for heavens sake, do not drink mountain spring water.

EPA: New Radiation Highs in Little Rock Milk, Philadelphia Drinking Water Apr. 10 2011 - By JEFF MCMAHON Milk from Little Rock and drinking water from Philadelphia contained the highest levels of Iodine-131 from Japan yet detected by the Environmental Protection Agency, according to data released by EPA Saturday. The Philadelphia sample is below the EPA’s maximum contaminant level (MCL) for iodine-131, but the Little Rock sample is almost three times higher. blogs.forbes.com/jeffmcmahon/2011/04/10/epa-new-radiation-highs-in-little-rock-milk-philadelphia-drinking-water/

Waves of Beta radiation now are the present norm for San Diego.

The Little Rock sample is 3 times higher than the Philadelphia sample - not 3 times higher than the maximum allowed. Both are way way below the maximum allowed. www.newsreview.com/chico/dont-worry-about-radiation/content?oid=1958618]Don’t worry about radiation EPA says we’re safe following the Japan nuclear crisis From the Article above: Levels in water at two western sites are 5,000 times lower than the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s threshold for what constitutes as a public-health concern.

LA Counts Wow. LA spike to 700 back on Feb 17 (before the Earthquake). Maybe our resident "expert" can tell us what happened.

LA Counts Wow. LA spike to 700 back on Feb 17 (before the Earthquake). Maybe our resident "expert" can tell us what happened. Bill, if you read the disclaimers on the various sites you would have found that the spikes are caused by radio interference. The EPA has deliberately been setting their sensors up where they can be taken out of service because of performance issues. They deliberately locate them at places where they will be interfered with by nearby radio transmissions. Of all of the sensors on the west coast, almost all were down at the time of the heaviest radioactive pollution. The US EPA has become the laughing stock of the world. Ironically, they did not chose a high radio interference site for the San Diego sensors. Thus the readings in San Diego are fairly accurate. When heavily radioactive clouds are passing overhead, you can clearly see it. Not so for other regions as their sensors are usually being re-calibrated on those days.

Readings in LA have been in the mid Fifties for the past few days. Hummmmm? ? they removed the detector in San Diego that had such high readings.. Could be that both LA and San Diego have been dusted with a strong dirty wave of isotopes?

Depending upon the winds we should see some tremendous deposits of particulate radiation in Southern California over the next few days. Watch the monitors. If you do not trust them, buy your own Geiger Mueller Counter. They are not that expensive.

Bill, any radiation in excess of normal background is dangerous for your health. It only takes ONE gamma ray to start cancer growing in your body. That is right, just one.

Right now, LA, San Diego and southern Arizona are getting three times normal background radiation right now. Very big and dirty cloud over head, and it is crapping all over us.

www.fairewinds.com/content/seven-wing-presentation-tmi-health-effectsPeople think that TMI was of little consequence. Tell that to the people whose pets died and people had burned skin and lost their hair and had bloody diarrhea. The atomic industry said only a minimal dose was received by the local population roughly equivalent to one year's normal background exposure. If that were so, why did so many people die of cancer? These recordings are of poor quality, but they contain a wealth of information and are well worth listening to Supposedly the people only received 100 milli Rem of radiation from the TMI accident, yet they were exhibiting symptoms as if they received 100 REM of radiation. That is equivalent to 1 Sievert of radiation. That is enough to make people very very sick and even kill some of them. So who is telling the truth, the atomic industry or the people who were sick. Were the people who were bleeding analy doing so just because they had psychosomatic symptoms. If they were, how did they know in advance that rectal bleeding was a symptom of one Sievert or more of radiation poisoning?

Fifty CPM for Southern Cal and Seventy CPM for southern Arizona. We are getting heavily dusted again. People really need to understand that each radioactive cloud that rolls from Japan, and across the Pacific, the US, the Atlantic, and Europe deposits (relatively) small amounts, slightly increasing cancer risk each time. The problem with the melting and now not fully contained reactor, is that it will continue to emit high levels of radiation for the foreseeable future. Each cloud of radiation that passes over the earth will deposit a bit more, and a bit more, adding to our dose. Some of these radionuclides don’t fully dissipate for hundreds or even thousands of years. That means humans and animals will be ingesting and breathing in contaminated materials for the foreseeable future. Even breathing in one particle can increase a risk for cancer, even if it doesn’t manifest for 10-20 years. Yes, people in the Ukraine are still dying from Chernobyl fallout. Thousands of people in japan are already developing single cell cancers that will start dividing. In ten years they will notice that they have severe headaches and they will be found to have brain cancer, or chest pains and they will be found to have lung cancer, ....or thyroid or colon or lymphatic cancer. It starts now and kills you later. Japan as part of their coverup is only releasing data on Iodide and Cesium, Remember there are dozens more radioactive chemicals that are spewing out of those two unpressurized reactors. Why are they at atmospheric pressure? Because they have holes in them and hot radioactive gasses are flowing out of those holes and drifting wherever the winds may take them.

We are building up to that massive wave of radiation slated for the West coast on Sunday. A lot of hot radioactive gasses escaping from the volcano formerly called Reactor Two.

San Diego and Los Angeles have been taken off of the air. I suspect that something underhanded from the government is at play here.

www.epa.gov/japan2011/rert/radnet-sandiego-bg.htmlNote the gradual average increase in Beta in San Diego. The EPA took the Beta counter down on the 24th and 25th. The chart shows an artistically drawn "valley" for those days, but the reality is those were not real charted days. On Bad Days, the EPA has taken as many as 24 of their monitors off line, claiming that it was for maintenance. If you believe that, you will believe anything. It was done only to keep people from panic.
