I'll be going to a few Nats game to watch Stras pitch. Would rather wear an Aztec Stras jersey than a Nats one. Does anyone know if any were ever made or available? BTW I walk into Dicks Sporting goods around here and they all have huge racks full of Stras Nats jerseys right in front of the door when you walk in. Only $100 Thanks

I'm curious as to why the Aztec store in fashion (or on campus) does not have jersery's of our best players stocked all year round. IMO there would be a market for Faulk jersey's and now Strasburg's too. Or to even get an old school Michael Cage jersey.
I looked on ebay and couldn't find any Aztec Strasburg jersey's, FYI

Not too long ago at Red and Black game they had a ton of baseball jerseys. I looked through all of them and ended up with a cool grey jersey (#23). Unfortunately, no #37.
I traveled to fashion valley store and no Stras anything.

I have said this a million times... I think a black Strasburg jersey would sell really well. I understand they don't have the demand for jersey's from all our players, but for crying out loud, the most talked about baseball player in the nation? Please. I would buy one for every member of my family.

No kidding even if he isn't an aztec anymore a simple 37 on the back of an aztec jersey would work.

Thanks 619, jonny, et al. for looking around. Looks like a big negatory. This might be prompting me for my next Korea trip (or next workmate on a Korea trip) to make some black market ones. Don't get me wrong, I'd buy one from the school in a heartbeat. Or from anywhere official for that matter, but what do you do with such nopeyness

I know it sound easy to us but we really need to market a little better on athletes like Strasburg and the other great ones. Why not carry his college jersey at the fashion store? I think a topic like this was discussed on the old board but is anyone on here in the marketing department? I know we all have ideas on how to promote SDSU sports but it seems like on subjects like this (ie jerseys), no one is really listening. I was walking though the del mar fair today and saw a bunch of SDSU gear and could only imagine that more would be sporting a Strasburg jersey if available.

I was at the Nats game last night. There were literally 5-10K people wearing Stras jerseys. Pretty cool to see. I got a lot of lookie-loo attention in my San Diego State Kevin O'Connel #7 t-shirt/jersey. Wearing #37 would have been better

I own two of the three Godburg jerseys that were available at the Red and Black game. They were all Batting Practice Jerseys, and were stashed with hundreds of others in the totes underneath the table (there wasn't enough room for them on top of the table, there was so much isht for sale). Gives you a lesson, during a rummage sale with one of a kind items, look in all corners for things people have missed. Both are signed, and not for sale.

Things to consider:
1. You can't just make Strasburg jerseys... He has a right to publicity and we can't just "make" them. You need his license.
2. Gwynn Aztec jerseys never really sold too well (per Gwynn).

I wouldn't think, though I maybe wrong, that College jersey would be subject to MLBPA, so you would need him only to license it; the dude gamve what a quarter mil to the program a month after signing a contract, I don't think it would be too contentious
