Don't forget, this next academic year is Weber's last. I have my hopes his successor will be a disciple of Charles Reed. One who values sports as much as academics, not just academics. Our survival depends on it.
Any dreams of being football champs in the conference someday will end up a nightmare with the wrong hire. If we get another Thomas Day type weenie, we may as well fold up our tent. Doing things half-ass won't work in todays dog-eat-dog world. I often wonder how we survived this long.

Speaking of the biggest hire ever.

This is the State of California....of course it'll be screwed up. Who does the hiring for the President?

Easy there, Bob, try following your OWN ADVICE, but thanks for making my point for me. Which point did I not make clear while you were whining about PC? Take it to the political forums if you want to spew your political crap. Seems to me there are 4 of them that accommodate right wingnut political statements. It's rather easy to access them and by doing so you can hook up with Pooh and the other tea-party people while leaving those of us who don't care to bother with your right wing-nut opinions. In short, take your political opinions to the political forums instead of dropping your $#!+ on athletic forums. Your political opinions aren't wanted and all you'll get is enmity. ain't that difficult to figure out. =Bob I made a poor attempt at humor with a comment about Obama that offended some people on this board and for that I apologize to the board. I guess after 10 years plus on this board I am entitled to screw up once in awhile. You escalated it by attacking me personally in a rude and obtuse manner and then making your own political comments which you advised me were not welcomed on this board. I believe you now owe the board an apology.
