Utah has already caved on their mascot. They used to have a Ute Indian...now, they have "Swoop"  ? A hawk? Ok...a "hawk" and your nickname is "Utes" after the Native American tribe. Ok... |

I guess it just shows the insensitive nature of the MWC. We currently got two schools with indian names. Stanford has a tree.

He said "currently". That is true. The Utes and the Aztecs. Utah has not been offered. Nor have then accepted (logical).  I guess it just shows the insensitive nature of the MWC. We currently got two schools with indian names. Stanford has a tree. 2? |
