We are pretty much booked up for the year on guest chant leaders. We would love to have more games to allow more alums to do this. Keep giving more ideas, and you if you do know a former alum who would like to co-host the chant, please direct them to The Show's website. They can contact The leaders of the chant there, and get their request for a game in. But again, we have booked the leaders for this year, and we don't feel it would be fair to those that are already excited to lead in front of the entire Show to be "bumped" by a more popular Aztec. We already had to do this once, but Luckily Lindley shows up to all games, so he had no problem changing his appearance date.
If any celebrity alums would like to tell us what games they will be at, and would like to request to be a back-up/alternate if the booked leader is unable to get to the arena on time/is absent, we would love that. Again, just go to theshowsdsu.com and click on contact us.

This is a terrific idea. Famous Alums leading the chant before the game. How to make it happen, though. Through Coach Ransom and the Music Dept? This seems like a no-brainer for the "Aztec Club", too. Get that Rubio's guy out there. Faulk, Weathers, Exhume Art Linkletter. Get 'em all out there. LaRoi Glover, Tony Gwynn - both of 'em, Buddy Black, Strasburg - he's on ice for a year. This could be something big. The Chicken, Julie Kavner, Cleavon Little, Ric Flair! Get Sol Price out there. Jerry Sanders. Herm Edwards, the list could go on for quite awhile. Seriously, if this doesn't happen, SDSU Alumni is missing a HUGE OPPORTUNITY. Ric Flair played for Minnesota. beg to differ, ESPN couldn't be wrong!!!!!

Forget the chant. Just have apollo talk to the team in the locker room before the game. The team will def come out with the eye of the tiger ready to dish out some pain.

Apollo Creed wouldn't be caught dead leading that corny chant.

Well that corny chant should now be ours by default because Utah State just got beat by weak ass Idaho.

We should find a clip of Apollo talking to Rocky (Balboa) and play it before next year's football games. "Rocky, you need that Eye of the Tiger...." Funny you say that, Rocky III was on AMC tonight

You don't put three exclamation marks after a request. You make it sound like its already happening. Way to break my Carl Weathers-loving heart. Amen, brother!!! I fear that many of our posters have no idea when to use a question mark in the title.

No worries. Bring on Apollo Creed!
I hear that the BYU players are going "Mr. T" on the Aztecs anyway on the 26th. Gonna all come out with Mr. T mohawks...wearing lots of bling, gold chains, etc.
Mr. T = Apollo Creed kryptonite
"Hey...what's your predition of the outcome for the BYU vs. SDSU game on the 26th"?
"Paaaain". Grrr..
