www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/bracketology#2 seed in Tucson/Anahiem...I'll take that right now! Wow, there is such a weak pool of at large candidates that Colorado State is 'safely' in their field. In year's past they wouldn't even get an NIT bid with their current profile.

Love it! 4 MWC teams...hope it plays out this way. The only thing that would be better is to have BYU play the friday sunday dates!

I expect the MW gets 4 .. but NM might jump ahead of CSU if they beat them in the conference tourney.
That would be a brutal 2nd round matchup with West Virginia. I would love to see a few upsets and help pave the road for us a little.

The more I think about going to Tuscon...the more I think Denver would be a great site! Teams will struggle to play in the altitutde but our Aztecs are "somewhat" use to it.

Weird question here. If BYU goes far in the tourney, do we get to keep their points for future years?

CSU currently at 48 RPI, 42 SOS and 4-5 vs top 100 RPI and a solid road win at UNLV.
Definitely deserve to be on the bubble, but far from a lock. If they beat NM and UNLV at home and only lose to BYU and SDSU the rest of the way, they should be firmly on the bubble.

Watching the N. Carolina / Duke game. NC killing btw. CBS has us in the same bracket as NC. They are one of a few teams I would rather not play. Kansas is the other (also in our bracket). Reason? Their inside game. It phenomenal. Agile and very fast and play. Our guys will have to play to potential. Can't wait.

To answer an earlier question, yes the MWC keeps all of the points earned under the MWC for the future, so even if BYWHO goes way into the tournament they forfeit their money earned from this or past tournaments. Oh too bad, so sad.....SO GLAD!!!!!

But while KL blew chunks he played a hell of a game despite it.

I would love to see a few upsets and help pave the road for us a little. CSU is currently the third place team in this league. They are very good, and are deserving of an NCAA bid, especially with the field as relatively weak as it is.

New Mexico plays at CSU this weekend. A win by NM would really hurt CSU chances...it would be tough for them to get in over NM even if they have a better conference record as NM would be 2-0 head to head. Plus NM has a win over BYU so unless CSU pulls an upset at BYU or SDSU, they would not have a big win like NM does. So, CSU REALLY needs to win this game.
