This has nothing to do with the current mods but if i was ever a mod for a messageboard and someone made a post like this, regardless of their history with the board, i would just ban the guy on the spot. these boards are for people to express their opinions...Intelligent opinions. Threads like these aren't opinions. they are personal attacks to people and families he/she has no idea about. thats just my Intelligent and very UN-humble opinion lol You are correct on everything but banning the guy (I don't think he has any history of doing this)...I would just delete the thread and tell him not to do it again. It definitely crosses a line. Not the first post of his I've found objectionable. Still, I won't advocate banning him, but admin should certainly look at being a bit more expansive in deleting threads. =Bob

I can see both points of view. True, she does work for the school, in the business administration area, working to help find employers for the MBA graduates. And, yes, she is very profesional. BUT...I agree that she should terminate her employment and let that department find another SDSU graduate and someone affiated with the school in some regard. So, yes, I think she should go. And, BTW, Coach Long's wife did not work for the UNM as far as I know. So, that has nothing to do with this thread. THE POINT BEING IS: That SDSU should hire its own. This coach's wife was hired, not just because she is a professional, but because she needed a job....and she was the Coach's wife. Since he is no longer employed by SDSU (and bailed), then the school should not be obligated to employ her any longer, but I don't know what the contract says. BUT, when is SDSU going to start hiring its own? That includes the athletic department....not so much with coaches, but with other positions. Aren't graduates good enough to work for SDSU?

So, yes, I think she should go. and she IS going. but she isnt going to leave the school hanging in the middle of the school year and leave whatever project she is on or whatever clients she is working with. that kind of stuff is what will hurt this school. The schools dont go through hiring processes during this time. they wait til school is out. she is leaving and the school is looking for a replacement, but its not the right time. a professional player who announces their retirement isnt going to retire in the middle of the season. they are going to wait til the season is over. it will do more harm than good to leave in the middle of something than wait til its over.
