ptsdthor, you should be pissed at Trump for ordering the Republicans to kill the bipartisan Border security bill. He put himself above the well being of the country. That is utterly unacceptable. Every Republican voter should pull their support for him based on that alone. Biden was set to sign that bill, giving Republicans 90% of what they wanted. That bill was far more Republican than Democratic, but Trump ordered it killed by the Republicans and they did his bidding. So if the border really is your top priority then you shouldn't be supporting the man who killed that bill. To continue to support him after doing that is intellectually dishonest and hypocritical. Could you imagine having the audacity to say "But Mr. and Mrs. Riley, if we just had a law that limited our migrant encounters to 5,000 a day..." Remember, the Democrats want this chaos. They sue to stop states from enforcing immigration laws for a reason. They want to allow the unfettered flow of future voters. With the likes of the Biden appointed and Senate protected Mayorkas, there is nothing in the Senate Bill that would stop Mayorkas and his minions from making the bonehead administrative decisions (mistakes) that lead to Laken's death in the first place. The Senate bill does little to remove the incentives, so the flow of illegals will continue regardless of the # of ICE Agents, # Immigration Judges, size of the Detention facilities, etc. It's official. You, sir, are full of $#!+. TRUMP KILLED A HUGE BORDER SECURITY BILL, AIDED BY HIS REPUBLICAN LACKEYS. The Democrats supported it. Biden helped negotiate it and was VERY willing to sign it. It took a couple months to negotiate, and Republicans got 90% of what they wanted in the bill.TRUMP KILLED IT BECAUSE HE DOESN'T REALLY CARE ABOUT BORDER SECURITY, HE CARES ABOUT HIMSELF. Those are facts. No amount of pretzel logic will alter that. Trump killed the massive border security bill because he cares more about his political career than he does about the American people. FACT.

The Republican Party has ZERO credibility anymore.
They support a corrupt, traitorous candidate for President like he was the Second Coming. They support Russia and Putin by supporting that candidate. They Support lies about an election and the undermining of our very democracy by convincing Republican voters that the electoral system is rigged and fake.
Without faith in elections democracy cannot stand - it cannot survive. And yet the Republicans are so hell bent on power that they'll sabotage our very democracy to get it.
f x x x them. I'm done with that corrupt, neo-fascist party. They are not conservatives. They spend federal money like drunken sailors. They blow up the deficit and national debt in ways that would make Ronald Reagan sick. They support the rich over the middle class. (And forget about the poor! The poor aren't even human beings worth considering to 90% of elected Republicans.) They support the worst President in American history who tried to stage a coup and incited an insurrection.
There is nothing good about the modern Republican party. That's why the most ethical and honorable Republicans have resigned. The inmates run the asylum in the Republican party - the lunatic frings is in control.
I don't agree with the Democratic Party on everything (there's plenty I don't agree with), but they haven't undermined Democracy.
Ethics and Integrity mean a lot to me. Those things mean NOTHING to Trump and his sycophants in the Republican Party.

This is *NOT* hyperbole and has been confirmed by two separate individuals, including one Trump advisor who was in the Oval Office at the time the event occured.

One thing I don't understand. If RFK Jr. is in the back pocket of the Republicans, running to hurt Biden's chances, then why is Trump calling him out now, saying to not vote for him and really blasting him.
RFK Jr. is doing the same thing to Trump. Blasting him back. Why wouldn't Trump just not say anything if he thinks RFK Jr. can help him? Doesn't make sense.

Here's a really good video to watch for all of our Christians on the board who are considering voting for Trump... Trump is a phony. He's a fraud. He's taking advantage of everyone he can, and right now that is primarily right wing Christians. He's using them for his own gain with no real connection to their beliefs. johneaztec, what are your thoughts on this?

The virtue signaling by Democrats with their TDS is absolutely childish.

Remember, TROLLING has gotten people banned in the past, and will likely get people banned in the future. Trump killed the border security bill that gave Republicans 90% of what they wanted. It was the best possible bill. AND Trump & the Republicans didn't give us anything nearly that good when they had the majority in both houses AND Trump in the White House. It's almost as if Trump doesn't really give a $#!+ about the border and Americans dying from drug use. Huh. Why, again, didn't he and the Republicans do something about this problem that you constantly bemoan when they had two years to do it? They had TOTAL control and did NOTHING about the fentanyl problem that you keep bitching about.

How is this a real question. I don't know. You tell me smart guy. It's not about being smart, it's basic political relations. Trump did the same thing in reverse a few weeks ago, telling people he'd vote for RFK over Biden. He has to maintain the hostilities towards both. Plus, it's Donald Trump. He's ill.

The bill that Trump killed was basically written by the Repubicans. FACT. It gave them 90% of what they wanted. FACT. Trump and the Republicans did NOTHING to stop the border problems and allowed fentanyl to keep flowing across the border when they had the White House, and held majorities in both Houses of Congress for TWO YEARS. FACT.

He's not a doctor, he's not qualified to give any kind of medical assessment. The role of a Special Counsel is to investigate and give a summary conclusion on whether a prosecution should take place, period. But he did also conclude that the stark contrast between Biden's documents case and Trump's meant that only one rose to the level of criminality.

Latest polling is a dynamite illustration in recency bias. amp.cnn.com/cnn/2024/04/28/politics/cnn-poll-trump-biden-matchup"Trump’s support in the poll among registered voters holds steady at 49% in a head-to-head matchup against Biden, the same as in CNN’s last national poll on the race in January, while Biden’s stands at 43%, not significantly different from January’s 45%. Looking back, 55% of all Americans now say they see Trump’s presidency as a success, while 44% see it as a failure. In a January 2021 poll taken just before Trump left office and days after the January 6 attack on the US Capitol, 55% considered his time as president a failure." Time apparently does heal all...

Zero to RFK Jr. and zero to Biden. He rips Biden, he rips RFK now. He's not going to get them all, so if I were him, I'd just let RFK alone and let the people take Biden votes away. But the point was, why rip RFK if he's in the Republicans pocket, like you said.
