Oklahoma QB Caleb Williams entering transfer portal, leaves door open for return to Sooners Have you followed the backstory on this, with rumors coming from the dentist? Apparently Auburn has offered him a $1M NIL, which Oklahoma is not going to match. Whether true or not is debatable, but if he ends up at Auburn we'll have our answer. This is really getting ridiculous. I get people believing players should be able to "get theirs", but things like this are ruining college football IMO. s3media.247sports.com/Uploads/Assets/312/834/10834312.jpeg

Use to be the P5 schools had the incredible facilities and the other extras that G5 schools could not match
Now with the NIL it could easily be the school that has the best supporters that we can soon we call it " NIL Gotten Gotten Gains " Booster Heaven for big pockets who want to support their schools ?
Do not think the G5 schools will have the money unless they have incredibly rich boosters ?
Going back on the Guys leaving the Aztecs for the Portal
Coug you have an inside relationship or whatever
Do the Coaches have an end of the season meeting with the guys they each coach say OL . Where they review the season for each player and their thoughts for the up coming season and where guys may fit ?
Also some have wondered the OL coach - was it him being honest with some players that he needed to see marked improvement by spring for them to have a shot at breaking the 2 or 3 deep ? So they chose to enter the portal . Your thoughts on the guys who did enter the portal and what the OL looks like for 2022 ?

Hmm. Maybe I should start offering money to the big name players to come to state. I can just write it off as a business marketing expense.
Please provide a list of players we really need and want. From there, I will just offer them money to come to State and they can be company spokes people.
Is this basically how easy it has become?

They supposedly have one lined up with 1 of their boosters for him, at least that's the rumor.

It can’t be offered prior to coming to Auburn or it will be pay for play and there are several schools dealing with that right now. It’s moot… if Caleb wants an NIL, he can get one and take it with him wherever he goes, Adidas, Nike, etc. Crypto, etc. and then he can get what he wants at the new school. I don’t believe that there is anything in place at Auburn, but I am sure that most of the top schools have donors that are ready to support Caleb’s move to their program.

Yes, it can be offered before they come. Its been happening and its perfectly legal. brobible.com/sports/article/texas-am-recruiting-class-nil-money/

And now comes the report that an investment firm has arranged a $1 million NIL deal for Williams at Eastern Michigan.
Another story yesterday said the portal currently has an average of 11 players per FBS school, and climbing. This thing is rapidly becoming a mess.

I don't see how the G5 can continue to be competitive. NCAA football has become a professional football league with no salary cap!
