Been waiting on this for a while, the full reveal comes tomorrow. Padres are projected by Szymborski to get to 40.6 fWAR, which equates to roughly 88 wins against an average schedule.

The rotation has added nearly 5 projected fWAR from last year and Gore is projected to be the best starter, despite never throwing an MLB pitch. He would be projected for 3+ WAR over 200 innings.

Paddack and Lamet's WARs look too low. Especially Lamet Szymborski discusses that in the article. Essentially because of their innings projections at this point. Steamer is much more bullish.

I should have said in the original post that he would be projected to be the best starter with a full sample size. That is notable considering ZiPS is not fond of younger pitchers below AA in usual projections.
