Flynn is cold-blooded. And check out the cross-over followed by spin move followed by layup that Mitchell breaks out on about the 2:10 mark. Most of the highlights are from before the roof caves in on CSU with about 6:30 left in the game. Not much but SDSU after that. Enjoy. www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6coC6r7xfA

Mitchell's weight loss is paying off, big time. Dude can ball, he's a starting 6th man.

Nobody has an answer for him. Mitchell is now what we thought he would be: Under control, picking his spots and deadly from midrange to the basket. He is a match up nightmare. At 1:15 mark, Mensah needs to step out and take the charge. He sat inside the circle and gave the dude a clear path to the rim. I am sure they will fix it in practice. I have never seen an Aztec team with this much ball movement. Taking the extra pass to find the open man. Every dude on the floor knows his role and is at the very least an effective scorer. Last few years teams would have folded down the stretch in a hostile environment where you are getting no love from the refs. At one point it was 19 fta to 2 fta.

There was a fantastic play in the second half when it was still a tight game where Mitchell drove the baseline and got into scoring position under the basket. But instead of trying to make an awkward reverse layup, he kicked it out to Schakel (I think. Might've been Seiko or even Flynn) in the corner, who immediately flipped it to Pulliam at about the 10 o'clock position on the arc, who without hesitation shot and made a wide-open trey. Just some really pretty, unselfish basketball.

The ball movement on this team has been better than any Aztec team I can remember. And pretty much every guard/wing we have is a very good 3 point shooter (except probably Pulliam and definitely not Arop, but he's more of a 4) so it forces the defense to spread out and cover us. Totally opens the floor up for driving lanes

He's been the biggest surprise to me so far, even over Yanni.

I love that he passed it out.

I understand Tony Gwynn was just a freak athlete, but since him, has anyone averaged the amount of assists Flynn has so far?

After the game it was reported that Mensah had been ill, probably a a result of altitude sickness so he gutted it out !

It wouldn't have been a reverse.. if you look at it again Yanni was sealing his man and screened Mitchell's defender at the block and it was a gimmie left handed layup
