Interesting. He was a big opponent of SDSU. Not a good look. I won't vote for him.

We need to energize the same people that voted for SDSU West to turn out and vote against this guy. This guy is bad news for SDSU.

This is something that this site and others should really get behind and make sure he knows he made a mistake going against SDSU.
I hope we can all come together against this guy, he made it personal!
Go Aztecs!

He bad mouthed a public university, their alumni and their fans. He backed a bunch of millionaires who gave crap about the future of San Diego and has done whatever he could to help himself make more money. Guy is a creep and hopefully will drop out sooner than later.

He needs a serious political beat down.
ANYONE who actively fights against the only AFFORDABLE local college when it's trying to expand is morally bankrupt. I really took exception to ANYONE who was against SDSU last year. That's just being against future generations of kids and telling them to f x x x off and live lower class lives until they die.
No one knows the value of a college degree more than I do, and I would NEVER oppose a university like SDSU trying to expand and give more kids a chance at getting those degrees!

I dislike Sherman and Soccer City. SDSU is not perfect either and I wouldn’t exactly capitalize “affordable”. The below prices are per semester. I think CSU and SDSU increase the cost students pay too much. Student debt is a national crisis. I'm comparing SDSU to UCSD and USD. And, yes, the increases have been way too steep.

Since 2011, annual tuition for in-state under grads is up less than $1,000. And in the end, in-state students can earn a four-year degree for a total of $30,000. I say that's a bargain.

That's the way I look at it, I worked my way though school (took a few years at a JC) and never took out a loan and never borrowed any money from anyone. College is not for everyone you need to make sacrifices if you really want it, it is available. If it is made to easy to obtain it will mean nothing. I am not saying these prices are cheap but you need to make sacrifices to get things you want, it's an investment into your future.

Those prices are per Semester, so double it. Plus it is nearly impossible to graduate in 4 years due to availability of classes. 4 1/2 years is doable. Approximately $65 to $70,000 for tuition alone, without books, or two years required to live on campus, a meal plan that is higher than it costs to make your own food. It all adds up. College isn’t affordable. It’s a nationwide crisis.
