Link: The only crime was winning the electionDem politicians, leftist journalists, Snowflakes, comfortable bureaucrats and low-information voting Government dependents will never be able to convince the American working class (seen at last night's rally, for example) that Trump is guilty of any crime other than winning an election they thought was theirs. And so long as Biden is the Democrat front runner, no formal impeachment inquiry will ever be authorized because Rudy has Biden cold. A formal impeachment process allows both sides to present their information equally and Biden can not survive that (and Trump will). So Pelosi will string this along trying to get a few more cuts of the 1000 sought until her vulnerable house members in Trump leaning districts will be out of the woods for being "Primaried" by clueless leftist clowns upset with them for not following though on formal impeachment proceedings. Pelosi will pull up out of their nose dive into sure losses in the Fall and say something profound like "Lets let the American Voter decide". (rolleyes).

I hope he gets taken out of office in a straight jacket and put where he belongs. This very much falls in the category of ‘Be careful what you wish for’. I personally believe that Pelosi and/or her advisors are far too smart to let that happen. The House is going to conduct their inquiry, and pass articles of impeachment, but only if Pelosi is 100% certain the Senate will exonerate Trump. Pelosi wants to create a climate to get a Democrat elected over Trump. Painting the picture of a corrupt Trump acting in a criminal way, and being protected by GOP Senators is a good way to do that. If on the other hand she were to actually pull off an impeachment and the economy tanked immediately afterwards, you’ll have people killing each other. I’m not sure if you’ve been watching, but up in Portland the two sides have recently started doing exactly that. Normally when the economy is growing, people are at ease. The political divide is getting heated enough that even now with a historically low unemployment rate and good GDP growth people are at each other’s’ throats. If the economy enters recession and the newly unemployed can twist logic enough to see the downturn as being the results of the DNC working with loyalists in the FBI/CIA to pull off a coup to seize power, it will hit the fan.

"People killing each other". well, it's only happened thousands of times in human societies throughout history. on a base level, we are not separated from other living creatures at all. stability is fluid. Many in the science community beleive we surpassed carrying capacity and critical mass quite a few years ago. One of the Breitbart crowd I have argued with on here over the years talked about creating artificially high human densities enabled by scientific advancement. ..mostly because of his view that the "leftists" have tried to control population density. Turn off the electricity on a high density human population for 7 days and you get "Mad Max".

Yes. Which is why I find your wishing for it to be troubling. I have faith that Pelosi won’t ‘shut off the electricity for 7-days’, and will instead let the election happen in 12 months while doing what she can to help her candidate beat Trump.

The Cult has spoken, cut and paste. Speaking of cult, is the True Believer ready to regale us about the Russia Collusion plot (that somehow doesn't involve Clinton/DNC/Perkins Coie/Steele/Kremlin)? Or does his life now have new meaning in the hope of Trump's guilt and Biden's (and Menendez's, Leahy's and Durbin's) innocence in the Ukrainian quid pro quo plot? And is his favorite song now Charlie Rich's "And when we get behind closed doors"?

This country is ungovernable by the far Right or Left. 100% this. People thought the ACA was far Left. You’re all correct, of course, but idiots think practical public policy is inherently socialist, and idiots also think common sense libertarian freedoms are inherently fascist. “Far Left” or “Far Right” is not (or more precisely, should not be) determined by the median voter, it is median policy. This country has done a shxtty job understanding and adapting to that after 40 years of rightward Overton window drift. We are all desperate for a course correction, and Drumpf is currently president largely because of the fact that even conservative Americans know the underlying fundamentals of the US, since the 80s, have been eroding.

This country is ungovernable by the far Right or Left. Trump is a self serving nut job. He is the master manipulator and the far Right / Evangelicals / "uneducated" are like sock puppets for him. How "educated" does one have to be to think that an open border and importing mass poverty from Central America is good for the country? How "educated" does one have to be to think that a trade deficit with and intellectual property theft by China in perpetuity is good for the country? Call them names all you want but the group of voters that gave Trump the GOP Primary victory was neither the Evangelicals nor the ignorant. Sure, they might not be Ivy leaguers, thank God!, but the sayings by Don Harold and Victor Hugo applies "There is nobody so irritating as somebody with less intelligence and more sense than we have." and "Common sense is in spite of, not as the result of education.". But now that Trump is President, where did you think the Evangelicals could turn? To the party that wants to force LGBTQ sex education down the throats of their 7th grade children (or younger if they had their way)? So, just let me know how educated one has to be to support open borders and the previous status quo with China?

Somewhere between french grey and pewter this morning. WBY? On Earth where I live the sky is blue. Thanks for asking. We do get some clouds sometimes, however the political climate here is the absolute opposite of your planet. Here the stewards of the Overton Window, the journalists and academics, are overwhelmingly left and getting more so every year. Sure we have some nincompoops on Earth who cite anecdotes and write opinion pieces claiming down is up, but all the real data makes it abundantly clear which way the Overton Window is being dragged.
