With the misdirections, play actions and fakes, defenses will be spying more.

If they do, that is one less safety or lb in the box.

One of my favorite #45 WR Matthews plays was one where he didn't even catch the ball. It was the Kobe Smith touchdown. Kobe caught the ball and immediately 4 Bruin defenders converged on him to keep him out of the end zone. #45 WR Matthews had the heads up to motor as fast as he could into the pile to help drive Kobe across the goal line. Love it!

It should be pointed out that he entered the program in the same class as JR Justice a four star receiver from St Augustine. Remember how excited we all were over his commitment? Give it a rest. The kid is a RS frosh. Our best defensive player today was also a 4 star. And he barely saw the field until his junior season. I don't think he saw any action as a RS frosh

nice article in Friday UT - coaches feel he has the best hands of the WR's
he was only about 5'11" in HS and did not get competition - so hard to rate and most schools passed on him
Was scout player last year for us but really works hard to earn PT
would also wonder if he would be a good punt return man if he has the good hands

We're a passing school! LMAO With Agnew & the receivers we have currently you never know. We may make more yardage passing this year than rushing. Wait a minute! We already did that last season!!!! Whoa!

someone get the kid a better number Nah...Keep it. That's a jersey number given to leftovers/walk-ons. So when he beats a defender, they'll know a walk-on just used him That's interesting. I've never heard that. I was taught that the 40's usually went to RB's, or sometimes used for receivers (like in his case), and sometimes DB's/Safties. Walk Ons usually got any number left over that wasn't in use.
