Thought he threw really well. Stuff and velocity is there for not having thrown in 14 months. All about health and staying on the mound going forward. Encouraging first step towards that end.

Except he has thrown. 9.1 innings in the minor leagues this year. I want to see the Padres run him out there every 5 or 6 days through the end of the season. He doesn't have to throw many pitches--just get him out there.
