I love John wooden and the lore of UCLA Basketball but I can't figure why kids would want to go there now. They do less with big time recruits than any other program I can think of and they play before a barely half filled arena.

I think they're convinced that they're so good that they can turn the program around to what it used to be. AND, they're in LA, in Westwood. That's pretty heady stuff for an 18-year old. They don't drive on the freeways so they don't know what a plan in the ass it is. They figure they'll pal around with Lebron and Kawhi.
