First bye 2/5, second bye 2/19. First one comes late, second one is right behind it.

Weird to be playing Conference games in early December. Although playing Air Force and SJSU may have hurt the Ken Pom etc numbers, I hate giving up two probable wins.

I expect Air Force to be pretty good compared to previous years

The schedule sucks.
I am tired of playing schools at 25k ft elevation.

some thoughts-
Winning MW or at least getting best seed for MW T is important so would say we need the W's . Beating San Jose twice would help . Road game at AFA is tough not when we play them at home , . Understand SOS but think we could really need the W's this year also
11/28 we play Texas Tech a possible top 10 team , then 11/29 Iowa or Creighton - both decent teams could be 0-2 in that T , then come home to practice or maybe an easy home game ? and then first MW game AT CSU 12/4 - Game we really need to win -
As noted key stretch 1/1 New Years Day game home Fresno( they beat us twice last year and have added players) - hope we can fill the V , then AT USU 1/4 ( best team in MW- with two possible MVP players and probably top 25 or better ) and then AT Cowboys 1/8 - It is better that it is during Winter break -- but still 2 trips to the Mountain Schools
Also have AT UNLV 1/25 and AT Lobos 1/29 road trips - at least there are direct flights
Play Fresno 1/1/ and At Fresno 1/15 - twice within two weeks
Last year we had the 2 early byes was not helpful - this year we get the 2 during Feb - something needs to be worked out
USU plays here 2/1 then we get a Bye
Also watch for games that get switched to Tuesday or Sundays
Believe Dutcher said he was trying to schedule home and away with PAC schools but that has been difficult to do
Do have Utah game in LA 12/21 so add that to schedule
Not sure if the AT BYU has been scheduled

This year the MWC schedule got moved up a week or two and the MW Tournament has a also been moved up a week, as a huge convention came into Las Vegas and booked many hotels & rooms. That means are OOC is tougher to fill now and we have fewer chances of premier games.
We just need to win 80%+ of all our games.

Im tired of the MW having extremely tough teams, but for some reason unable to show well against power conference teams. To have national respect, we all must win some big games in the OOC instead of just playing well against each other. My frustration.

The schedule sucks. I am tired of playing schools at 25k ft elevation. Calm down, as long as we are in the MWC that is what is required. Besides, if you play games at the higher altitude and win it proves how good your team really is! No excuses!

not exactly tough teams in MW but terrible road trips to schools with elevation and not always direct flights - also during the winter .so Mountain teams can get upsets
MW has not performed well in MM . Does not have top teams that can win .
Needs to schedule better in OOC and win games
Plus recruit better players is not easy as the better HS players do not sign to play in MW - so rely on transfers
Also this year should have moved the T to Anaheim
Bottom line MW is not a high quality conference

May not be a top conference, but any year that can change for the better with new teams & coaches. So, as you may remember we did have four teams
make the Big Dance just a few years ago, and I believe three of them were ranked in the Top 25 during the season. So, things can change rather
quickly from year to year.

Believe it has been over 5 years since we have had 4 teams in MW and win numerous games . Need to be able to recruit top players or get the quality transfers . Is not easy being a Conference not in the P6 or the Zags . This year USU maybe a high quality team - Need quality OOC seasons and with wins
January could be the make it or break, some tough road games- where we have had trouble , plus 2 games with USU and 2 with Fresno in addition No Byes 1/1 Fresno , 1/4 AT USU *** 1/8 AT Cowboys 1/11 BSU 1/15 AT Fresno 1/18 Nevada 1/22 Cowboys 1/25 AT UNLV 1/25 AT Lobos 2/1 USU ***

And the committee could care less about our altitude games. The MWC purposely goes out of its way to screw SDSU.

January is going to be an extremely critical month for our team.

opening game AT CSU - who did get their very physical forward back -could also be a very tough game . Not an easy place to play and will guess they are looking to get off to a quick start at CSU. .
We play Texas Tech and either Creighton or Iowa in a T end of November - then head home to practice or play before getting to and playing AT CSU

The schedule sucks. I am tired of playing schools at 25k ft elevation. Actually, if you add up all the road game elevations together, we are playing at over 37,000 feet. Just a fun fact. Or not.
