from Che's own feed. "#notcommitted" Not sure what to take away from that? What I took from this is that he is considering a half dozen teams and he hopes to make his decision on September 6th. From what I understand, he is a very talented basketball player that will probably shine for just about any program he chooses to play for, before he jumps to the NBA.

Interest qoute from Cory Evans on Rivals.com recruiting about Chibuzo Agbo signing with Big XII Texas Tech. "...The first member of Texas Tech’s 2020 class, he is the likely replacement for grad-transfer Chris Clarke. The Red Raiders have continued to pursue such other highly touted prospects this summer in the mold of Micah Peavy, Hassan Diarra, and Mwani Wilkinson..." There is no mention of 6'7" Che Evans in the same breath of 6'6" wings Peavy & Wilkinson. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/texas-tech-lands-three-star-forward-chibuzo-agbo Good find gundo. Gives me hope on Che.

think Tech is also looking at Jonathan Aku forward, and Bryce Thompson guard
plus Gethro M who plays the 4/5 positions
their coaches are really doing a good job on getting recruits
Not sure how many scholarships they have for 2020
Are the Razorbacks still in the picture - we know BSU is

I would imagine it's going to be either us or TT. I guess it comes down to P5 program fresh off a Final Four run vs. G5 program where his talent will shine brighter.
Given there have been no shortage of MWC players (okay so no laundry list either) to get a shot with an NBA team, and given how the most dominant players in the NBA right now didn't come from blue blood programs - or even P5 schools for that matter - I'm hoping he realizes he's likely to get more PT here and get every bit as much pf a chance to get paid.

SDSU has a recent history of MWC MBB Titles (11) NCAA Invites (8) a few players drafted into the League, and the Best Player in the World. Hopefully, the legacy, the family relationship, and a promise of minutes will be more than enough to draw Evans to the Mesa.
Maybe Yanni can tell Che' why he is in San Diego over Lubbuck, Texas.

Che Evans, the Class of 2020 forward from Neumann-Goretti (PA) and Team Melo, is down to San Diego State and Boise State and will announce his college decision on Sept. 12, according to Dwayne Wise of Team Melo.

It's got to be us... right? You would think it’s SDSU but weirder things have happened. Not counting any chickens.

It means an unequivocal target is on his way.

for those who know - how does BSU stack up for players at the 3 and 2 positions in 2020 - we may have Matt and Jordan at the 3 in their senior year . Also is AG more likely to play the 4 going forward or the 3 .We also will have 3 guards for 2020 but only 1 SG . Not sure if BSU will have more PT in 2020 .
Also interesting that Che moved his decision back a week - hope we are doing an in home visit with him in Sept before he decides.

I know it isn’t or shouldn’t be one of the major reasons to choose a B.B. program but I can’t imagine a kid from Baltimore would rather spend2-4 years in Boise rather than San Diego, especially if all other things are relatively the same. I think the evolution of Chandler Hutchinson has rightly impressed a whole slew of recruits.

I think the evolution of Chandler Hutchinson has rightly impressed a whole slew of recruits. From the recent Adam Zarogia Blog. San Diego State: “Love the coaches and their system of play. The academics were the most impressive to me. So many majors and opportunities. And what I liked the most was 24-hour access to the gym! And the development of players, Kawhi Leonard, for example.” Boise State: “Really love how Coach (Leon) Rice and (Chris) Acker made me feel on my official visit. They made sure Chandler Hutchinson and I communicated and I love how they developed him into a pro.”
