In a 3 game span & starting role he scored 52 vs Iowa State, Kansas and Oklahoma 2/9 to 2/16 and averaged 3.3 PRG, 5.0 APG and 17.3 PPG. Played a reserve role and limited minutes in TCU's OOC until PG Jaylen Fisher left, then played quality minutes in the Big XII and into the NIT.
Season high 22 vs Iowa State, 16 vs Kansas and 14 vs Okla & Lipscomb, 12 vs Nebraska, 10 vs Texas Tech, Indiana St and SHSU. Crowd Favorite.
We should make a run at a true PG with 3 years to play. Higher ceiling than Sieko and JuCo Pulliam.

Why is he transferring? One of the articles says TCU still has 14 scholarships and will still need to drop another, was he forced out of the program? He played 17 mpg in 37 appearances last year, so it's not like he was deep on the bench.

He played 17 mpg in 37 appearances last year, so it's not like he was deep on the bench. Looks like they recruited over him bringing in (2) in-coming 4-star PG's and a (RS) PG. Versus us (0) PG's as Freshman or recruits. Sieko will be a RS Soph, Pulliam and Jr with two years left. Feagin is a Grad and Flynn a Jr. we have no depth in up-coming classes. Sieko is not a true PG. Last year Jaylen Fisher was TCU's starting PG went down with an injury...again. TCU bulked up the back-court this period.

worth making the call to see if he has interest in coming here - but tough competition from the other schools

worth making the call to see if he has interest in coming here - but tough competition from the other schools Many of the schools mentioned are very deep at PG/CG positions and do not have scholarships open. We have both, no young depth at PG and open scholarships. Plus, we have coach Akers. Mr Immediate Impact. Tenacity.

Heading to SMU this weekend I believe TCU is in Ft.Worth & SMU is in Dallas, TX. So he is basically walking across the street. He went to HS in Houston. It would be nice to get him out to CA during the Summer.

Why shut it down? I see the heading as "Top 8" but only see 7 schools listed. Are we sure that SDSU isn't on there but not seen?

I guess we got nudged out? The Ft Worth Star Telegram has the Aztecs in his Final 7 and were no longer in his Final 8? Houston and USC added, Aztecs subtracted.

Looks like he moved cross town from Fort Worth to Dallas, or TCU to SMU. Texas boy through in through.
