any thoughts do we/ as have other MW teams get more recruits going forward- via transfers( regular transfer/ grad or JC) then HS guys .
Not that easy to sign the highly rated HS guys - maybe get the "under the radar guys " or guys that have the "high Ceiling " or chip on their shoulder guys. that may develop as they play in their 1 -4 th year . So maybe go after the transfers ?
2020 we have 3 to 4 scholarships - but will most positions have returning starters

Just looked at MWC 2020 HS commits/LOI from the 11 schools in the conference. I found two so far.
- Javier Turner 6'11 230 - Wyoming LOI - Alem Huseinovic 6'3 180 - Nevada LOI
Maybe we're not falling back compared to our MW peers; but then again, what do we have 4 to 5 real offers out. Less than most teams.
Here's who we're hot on, may have a shot.
- Evans - Butler - Hunter - Frank - Hawkins
Predictions
- Mobley - USC 100%, his father and brother play there - Green - 18 offers AZ & Memphis - Taitz - 15 offers, Aztecs not top three - Christopher - Top 10 player, brother plays at ASU - Blake - K-State or UNLV - Harris - NCAA football or basketball? - Bagley - Interest Aztecs, ASU hot on Bagley
Commitments
- Harris - Gonzaga '20 - Strawther- Gonzaga '20 - Juzang - Kentucky '19

We were looking for one of the two 6'9" Juco PFs to play immediately, as well as Juiston. Settled for Yani. We pushed hard on Devonaire Doutrive who visited, but decided to stay at U of A.

Outside of that one report which I know was false, we never were on Juiston. And maybe I missed it, but I don't think we were on Mathis. But I could be wrong.

Agreed, but also clearly interested in Doutrive who didn't end up leaving so not sure that's a "miss". I don't think we ever had interest in Washington. I don't remember any connection to Mathis -- I think he was always headed to Oregon if he left anyway. Sueing was the one guy I was really bummed we didn't get -- thought we had an excellent shot at him. Was excited about Doutrive as well. Really wanted a sit-out guy for that last scholarship, small chance could still happen -- maybe a guy in the fall.

UNM had 15 scholarship offers out. Juiston was linked early to the Aztecs, his final three were Rutgers (NJ is home), GCU (Menzies) and Oregon (committed)

I don't know if this was posted elsewhere, but this was an excellent read. Some good insight into recruiting.
