PG Logan Johnson from Cincinnati looks to be coming back home to CA. Has visited coaches Hut (Fresno State) & Bennett (St Mary's). SDSU had been high on him, maybe it was driven by Hut? We can still use a PG and it doesn't look like we're in the running for the TCU transfer Kendic Davis and his final 8.

would give it a solid effort - do expect strong competition from Coach Hut and St Mary's
Wonder if having the JC guard and Flynn both here for 2020-21 season hurts trying to recruit guards that want to start in 2020

Five bucks he averages more points than you next year?

I don’t think that our JC guard is making anyone nervous. Five bucks he averages more points than you next year? I’m not talking $#!+, but a D1 transfer who played as a true freshman isn’t likely worried about a unheralded late blooming JC player. I trust that the coaches saw something in him and that he could be an upgrade over Seiko, at least from the standpoint of aggression.

Bottom line we need a DI PG, by Transfer, by Juco, or by recruit. Johnson was a 3 to 4 star recruit who has a little Pistol Pete passing magic and can score.

And 6’2” is a nice size for a point guard. (although those height listings are rarely completely accurate)

point is other coaches will tell recruits that SDSU will have 2 returning seniors at guard for the 2020 season
Beating Coach Hut and St Mary's for guards can be difficult - but hope we can do it .

Do we know that we are still actively recruiting him ? He is heading back to California, to be honest I don't know who we are recruiting anymore. I know we're looking at filing in a big and PG. Brother Tyler played at Fresno State before his NBA career. Johnson has played 6 years, 5 with MIA and 1 in PHX.

Johnson committed to St Mary's today.
This thread is over and out.
