No Boogie, No Baker, No Jaden and No Sueing. No f****** way! Arizona has 13 backcourt players, 11 on scholarship. This means they are + 2 over the scholarship limit and aren't they headed for probation with the FBI investigation and Sean Miller on tape? WTF + What gives? Is Zeigler pandering to the never negs? His representations in this article aren’t necessarily wholly inaccurate but he seems to be purposefully misleading. First, he mentions that the Aztecs have added three new experienced guards when in fact we’ve added two guards and only one of them has experience at the university level. When discussing this year’s recruiting it is disingenuous to make reference to an addition made last year. Using Matt Mitchell to illustrate the value of open scholarships while ignoring the fact that an allotted slot remained open for each of his two years suggests an effective measured approach to late season recruiting that is contrary to reality. The truth is that multiple whiffs left the Aztecs desperate for additional help and the coaches were fortunate to land a player, let alone a capable one, in August.

"Cause its one, two, three strikes you're out!" are we becoming irrelevant? How can you say that after the Aztecs landed Yanni and Pullium? Both Yanni and Pullium are not high profile, proven players. We're not getting considered by highly ranked guys as we did just a few years back.

Seems my memory is fading ...

Remember however that Arizona is a P5 school. If The NCAA and FBI really come down hard that will probably mean really strong words like "slightly disappointed" in their permanent record. Its not like they were doing something really bad like carrying logs on the beach in the offseason.

Sorry but the NCAA saw it different and much more serious back in the day. by the end of it "the NCAA found the Aztecs carry Old-growth NON-Sustainable timbers over off-season Gnatcatcher breeding ground."

In the all seeing eyes of the nc2a helping 1100 students fake and cheat their way through college courses, including numerous athletes, is perfectly acceptable.
So, why can't AZ pay some guys who are going to be paid big bucks in a year or so, anyway? They need, as part of their university education, to learn how to handle $$$$$.

Perhaps the biggest tease this program has ever had.

WS3 was right up there as a highly ranked recruit.

And SDSU beat out a team (Texas Tech) that made the National Championship game this year for Yanni. You can't get them all.

Still waiting for the NCAA to come down hard on UNC for 1000+ "Student"-Athletes cheating getting academic credit for on campus and online courses they never took. Any day now ... The death penalty.
