Musselman sold him out, signed at Nevada, played him 5 minutes a game, and Muss leaves for a better offer in the SEC. Sorry Jordan, you'll have to sit another year to get any play time by year three in college. March madness dream to nightmares for these kids. #WooSooiePig

Alford has a pretty good record developing bigs. Brown thought he would get a lot of playing time but was 8th in minutes. Nevada didn’t go past 6 or 7 for any substantial minutes most games. After rarely playing this year, I doubt he’s going to transfer and sit out and waste yet another year. Alford just has to blow some smoke up the right place to convince him he’ll flourish under the new regime. I bet he keeps most of the guys who were there last year. Not as sure about the incoming ones.

would guess he has already been in contact with all their guys to see who still may want to play at Nevada
Is there any rule that if a HC leaves a player can transfer without sitting a year

Looking for a coach and school that he can " TRUST." From Nevada Sports Net“The thing of it with Jordan is a trust issue,” Dion said. “His confidence and trust got shattered this season. Not just him. Me, too, as well. We came out (to Reno) last week and we talked through it and this whole thing is trust. I hate to see that with such a young kid to where you learn what the world is about. It ain’t always good. But he’s going to be better for it. I know that. He hasn’t stopped working.”

There's no way he is going back to Nevada, Musselman screwed him. Looking for stability and TRUST.
“We’ve had Kentucky reach out, Arizona, Cal, Oregon, Baylor, Miami, Pitt, Ohio State, Louisiana-Lafayette, my old college,” the elder Brown said. “St. Mary’s, there’s quite a few people reaching out.”
“Kentucky was there from the beginning, and they’ve been reaching out and Sean Miller from Arizona,” he added. “They are showing a lot of interest.”

He didn't play because Musselman went with a very short rotation and valued experience. Brown doesn't really want to transfer and miss yet another year of playing. I think Alford will say all the right things to convince him and he doesn't leave.

I think Alford will say all the right things to convince him and he doesn't leave. I just recounted the interview with Jordan and his father, and I know they felt that Musselman made promises he didnt keep and then left him high and dry. The worth TRUST and TRUSTWORTHY were thrown around a lot about school and coachin stafs. On a aside note I was talking to a tuned-in UCLA booster/athletic deptarment freelancer (MBB Stats) who said Musselman was "dirty" meaning he didnt care so much about the recruiting rules themselves. He didn't like HS recruiting and made promises to many. He had the luxuary of an NBA background and that's why transfers flocked to him and his program. Redeam and retool good players; versus competiting for high school kids. UCLA wasn't considering Musselman after Alford. Thus the parade of high priced coaches who said "no" until Cronin said, "yes."

Will Brown stay now that Aweful + Noodles are in Reno's drivers seat. But then again he was the Mountain West preseason Freshman of the Year, who sat on the bench for Muss.
