Long line for this one and his former coach is now at UNLV so doesn't seem likely, BUT he is from Tacoma (where Flynn is from) so maybe that'll help? Flynn/Jenkins article20 pts/game, 45% 3PT shooter last year...would obviously be a huge pick-up. Dutcher has talked a lot about loving having a veteran backcourt. I wonder if Dutcher is trying to always have a junior/senior backcourt by getting transfers. I'd be all for getting a Flynn type every year (although easier said than done).

He wouldn't have to change anything with SDSU on it if he came here.

Only glaring knocks are his terrible assist to turnover ratio (49 assists with 84 turnovers) and he only had 15 steals in 33 games.

Rethinking transferring? It makes sense for a player to consider the school he is at and talk to his HC but open up his options.

I had the admin pull the Strawther thread (Aztec Offer), but its official he signs with the Zags and not home town UNLV. Looks like Jenkins, may not test the waters with the Zags and UNLV either. The Zags 2019 class has to be ranked #1.

"....But in the West Coast Conference, and a lot of other mid-majors that don’t have big football television contracts, that NCAA basketball money is a much bigger piece of the pie. The thought of teams in the lower half of the conference making money based on the success of winners doesn’t go down as smoothly. Gonzaga had been in that position for a long time. According to statistics compiled by the AP, the Zags brought in more than $51 million to the WCC since 1999 based on their success – 21 consecutive NCAA appearances, one Final Four and, most recently, five straight trips to the Sweet 16. The NCAA suggests that conferences split the money evenly among all members, which would pay Gonzaga $9.1 million, but the Zags negotiated a new deal to reap a bigger share, starting with money earned from this year’s tournament..." www.spokesman.com/stories/2019/mar/26/gonzaga-strikes-a-deal-to-get-more-out-of-ncaa-tou/

Seems like the threads around here have gotten even more off-topic than usual which is saying something.
