UCLA will play UCSB at Pauley. According to Dutch, UCLA wont play any California school on their home floor, meaning no Home & Home with UCLA. No premier home game planned this year.

U of A schedule, 14 games, 9 at home, 4 neutral 1 away. Looking forward to our schedule, Dutch still looking for a Premier Home game! At least we have 1 PAC12 scheduled now. Plus the Holiday Texas Tech, and Iowa or Creighton, plus BYU.

So with the 2 difficult games at Las Vegas , At BYU , Utah Neutral( / almost home game )do you really think Dutcher will be able or want to add another challenging home game

Dutcher seems on overload , recruiting battles not won, replacing a coach , another coach assisting his son , Injury to AG and trying to schedule OOC games.

Not one to talk considering our current schedule, but the only two marquee home games are Kansas State and SMU. Not exactly killer. K State finished BPI #22, but loses their top three scorers (one of which was the top rebounder), so who knows how good they’ll be. SMU finished under .500 and BPI #100, but loses their lead dog/top scorer and 3 of their 7 rotation players, so again, who knows. UNLV can usually schedule at home better than we can, but this isn’t impressive outside of luring in K State for a h&h. I do admire their away schedule, though. We need that.

per Dutcher on the radio - trying to get home and away with PAC schools but seems doubtful Most schools are releasing or have released there 2019/2020 OOCs. UCLA, ASU and U of A are out of the picture. We are already play Utah, USC the most likely candidate.

He did not seem too positive about getting game with USC this year unless maybe a Controlled Scrimmage - he also thought with Thanksgiving T and early MW games schedule this year will not be easy to put together other high quality games at home .
Tough T we play at Thanksgiving , Utah neutral court( almost home game) , At BYU wonder how many tough games he wants
Dutcher thinks that team will need to get ready to play better- earlier then in previous years .
Do hope they are better prepared this year then last year with losses at home to USD and Brown , also At Cal . also last minute loss At Home to Fresno
Team has only has 1 freshman so does have veteran team . But did lose 3 starters that scored a majority of the points . Good guards but have not played any minutes in MW - so will need to learn to play together as a unit . Team has 4 transfers ( Flynn did red shirt here last year ) , plus 2 Grad and a JC

It is very disappointing that we don't have anything announced for non-conference home games and seems like we may not get any sort of P5/decent basketball program at Viejas this year. Looking at prior years, we've certainly gone downhill in this regard. The P5 conferences (especially Pac-12) increasing conference seasons certainly hurts, but still seems like we should be able to get something done. Only the 12-13 season lacked a quality non-conference home opponent, but we did "host" Syracuse on the Midway. Last year was the only one without a P5 school and it looks this year may be the 2nd in a row. It seems unacceptable to not have a P5 opponent at home for 2 straight seasons especially when Dutcher has stated in the past that SDSU has no problem scheduling like other teams in the MW do. 11-12:
USC Creighton (I think this may be been part of the conference challenge)Cal 12-13:
Nothing at Viejas, but had Syracuse on the Midway. 13-14:Arizona Washington 14-15:
Utah 15-16:
Kansas 16-17:Arizona State 17-18:
Gonzaga Cal 18-19:
BYU 19-20:

I would like some additional insights on our schedule. I just saw this today Fresno State vs St. Mary's in Sac at a neutral site. They play both Nevada and Fresno State this OOC. And we got denied a Home & Home over these neutral site games? Any feedback.

Zags and Washington playing through the 2023-24 season. Does this feel like the Aztecs are having some serious troubling landing WCC and PAC12 Home & Home's? Even one-offs?
No Gonzaga, no St Mary's, no PAC games (except Utah on a neutral site at Staples Center)
