I've not seen a single comment where this guy has ever expressed interest in coming to SDSU. The only information appears to be from a UNLV BBall Twitter account from weeks ago. Understand sometimes players or coaches can't comment on potential recruits but this would be a really well-kept secret. The guy is a stud so hopefully, there is something here but much like Hommes, I wouldn't hold out a ton of hope. Yeepppp. But i also haven’t seen him attached to anywhere else. My guess at this point is that he follows Menzies to GCU but that is based on absolutely nothing (much like 95% of all speculation on this board).

For Shakur this next season will be his "last chance at the big dance."
The Aztecs are very well positioned to get there from the MWC. He can just take over Jalen's spot and be ready to dance.

SDSU, UCSB, Miami, Florida State Kid must want to live near the beach! My sources say the guy had his visit over the weekend...his parents came along...visit went well...on a side note...his parents are moving to HI...and if he brought them along...he may want to be close to them...he went to Berkely...and his parents were living in LA...Miami and FSU add at least six hours to the trip home...so...SDSU and UCSB would seem attractive in that regard...and between the two CA schools...basketball wise SDSU makes more sense....you never know....

Is the prior post referring to the visit of young Mr. Sueing?

You are confusing Shakur Juiston of UNLV with Cal’s Justice Sueing.

Hopefully he is just visiting out of respect for Coach Menzies and doesn't really want to go there.

Hopefully he is just visiting out of respect for Coach Menzies and doesn't really want to go there. Looked up th GCU transfers; there are many on the roster. Mikey Dixon, St John's PG Isiah Brown, Northwestern, PG Carlos Johnson, Washington, Wing SG Oscar Fryer, CAL Wing SF Michael Finke, Illionois, C-PF Johnson was an ex-Aztec recruit out of Findlay Prep, Fryer and Milstead played together in HS at Moreau Catholic High School , Fryer decommitted CAL to play at GCU. Maybe guys do want to play in PHX at GCU?

would concur that he wants a school that looks like it will be in MM and he will be a starter

Well, not sure how common it is for visiting recruits to dress up in team unis for photo shoots, but I would guess it's not too common. Probably not the best sign for our chances of landing him.

Good read. Juiston #4 on the list.
4) Shakur Juiston, 6-7, 220, PF, UNLV Stats: 10.8 ppg, 8.8 rpg Scout’s take: “He’s a banger, a phenomenal rebounder. Quick twitch. He can finish around the rim and step out to mid-range.” Schools: N/A

Shakur Juiston is right at the top of my grad transfer wish list!
Unfortunately, I have yet to see any quote from him, or actual expression of interest in SDSU. Have I simply missed some encouraging sign from him?
Or, are we all just deluding ourselves about the possibility of him becoming an Aztec?
He would be a great fit; especially if Jaden also decided to be an Aztec.

KJ was 18 on the grad transfer list and Sueing is 10th on sit out transfer list (just above Brown from Nevada) . Baker is only at 47.
18) K.J. Feagin, 6-1, 190, PG, Santa Clara Stats: 17.5 PPG, 4.0 APG (207-18) Scout’s take: “Phenomenal decision-maker off a ball screen, good step-in 3-point shooter, shot it really well his sophomore year when he didn’t carry the load. Needs to work on finishing, getting to foul line and defending at a higher level.” Schools: COMMITTED TO SAN DIEGO STATE
10) Justice Sueing, 6-7, 215, SF, Soph., California Stats: 14.3 ppg, 6.0 rpg Scout’s take: “He’s got an unbelievable ability to score and is an athlete. Just needs to work on his motor, but he’s a big-time scorer who can help a high-major program.” Schools: San Diego State (4-19), Miami, Pittsburgh, Ohio State, Seton Hall
47) Jemarl Baker, 6-4, 190, SG, RS Fr., Kentucky Stats: 2.3 ppg Scout’s take: “Utility guard who can stretch the defense and can make plays off the catch as well as create for teammates when he drives.” Schools: N/A

Baker is almost certainly under-rated on that list due to low stats from his season at Kentucky. Since our rotation at Guard next season is stacked with a Senior and two Juniors... building that pipeline of experienced guys to step in would be really nice.
