Why is everyone already handing the MGC Crown to Nevada?

I think we're jumping the gun. Just because a team is ranked No. 6, doesn't mean they get an automatic pass over the final four games of the season.

Nevada's regular-season crown is far from decided. They're one game up on USU with a game left to play in Logan.

Further, don't look now, but here comes SDSU. We're two games out, but have the hammer currently over USU and Nevada.

Nevada has four very tough games remaining. They host UNLV in a rivalry game. They have to travel to Logan, a very difficult place to play. And @afa, the Zoomie's high-altitude airy where all sorts of crazy things happen. Finally, they host a red-hot Aztec team in a game that could be for all the marbles. What could go wrong?

I'm sure Dutch & Co. know this and they're not throwing in the towel. So why are most people on this board so given to resignation?

I think U St is in the drivers seat with their tough games at home. If we win at Nev and U St or at least 1 of them we could tie for second. Not sure if we could still finish first?
