He must be getting really aggressive going to the basket. He’s averaging 20 points a game without making a three point shot yet. If he’s got that many rebounds he must be going in and either getting put backs on his own shots or taking smaller guards inside. If, you're speaking of Billy White his game was always get the rebound and slam it back home, or lay it in. He was excellent at that! He still leads the Aztecs in overall field goal percentage at 60%!

We really miss Kell this year, in many ways, and it shows at times. I think that we’ve missed Pope more than we’ve missed Kell I miss Al Skalecky.

I think that we’ve missed Pope more than we’ve missed Kell I miss Al Skalecky. Not many of us still alive remember Al. He was one of our best.
He still holds the record for season rebounds, 394 in 1967. Kawhi is second with 380 in 2011. And, Al is 3rd with 356 in 1966. Two of the top 3 rebounding seasons in Aztec history.
He also holds the 1st, 2nd and 5th spot in average per game rebounds.
