Wainwright is a 3-star shooting guard from Santa Monica HS hasn't yet received his first scholarship offer, but he's been hearing from LSU, San Diego State, Tulane and USC and he's been on campus in Baton Rouge and USC.

He obviously wears ear studs (sounds better than rings for a guy). Probably a rule in whatever league he plays in that those holes in his ears have to be covered to avoid injury. |

I saw him play a couple games at the Torrey Pines tournament & I didn't like his game at all. He got benched late at crunch time for poor shot selection, and his shot was really funky. A streak shooter who could go cold. Hopefully he's matured & improved a lot. |
