Once again exposing how FUBAR the current playoff system is. No way ND is one of the best four in the country. At least when the computers ran the show with the BC$ a G5 (e.g. BSU) could sniff the playoffs. Not so now - it's all about brand name/P5. What a joke. |

Why should the BCS share anything with the Div 1 non members? It kind of reminds me of the NFL vs AFL in the 1960’s (from what I’ve read, I was only 5 years old) but at least the NFL had the balls to schedule the SB, the blue balls won’t even answer calls or play a non-bcs school unless they play in their own backyard with their own officials. The MWC/MAC/AAC/CUSA/SBC should have their own National Championship Game. UCF, App St., Fresno St, UAB.  |

If, you give up there will be no playoffs with G5 teams included. Only by continuing to complain and working on a plan to include some of the best G5 teams will it ever happen. You have to stay in the P5/NCAA's face, and never give up asking or they will not pay attention to you!!!!!!!  ND just did not have the speed, or talent to stay with Clemson, but that will change some day. |

No, I would say you don't understand it! You have heard of the old saying that the "squeeling wheel gets the grease!" One way I would propose to get them to pay attention to the G5 schools is to take them to court. The way they are handling Division 1 (including playoffs, money & strategy) is wrong, and take them to court to prove it!
That is taking action, and the P5/NCAA schools don't want that!

There is no guarantee any litigation would get the result we are looking for. I think that would be a very tough case to prove, arguing against the current market results. |
