Should the other coaches get off scot free the whole investigation was a sham and waste of time. If you keep letting the big fish get away nothing will change! JMO You're the fisherman here. What kind of net do you buy that only catches minnows but lets 10 lb bass pass through?

What kind of net do you buy that only catches minnows but lets 10 lb bass pass through? One with obvious holes!

Is USC MBB looking at Sanctions? Okla State, Arizona, Kansas, Louisville and NC State...? Or do these adidas schools get a free pass for breaking rules?

Is USC MBB looking at Sanctions? Okla State, Arizona, Kansas, Louisville and NC State...? Or do these adidas schools get a free pass for breaking rules? Don’t forget Nike/Jordan and UNC. Likely the biggest and longest running academic cheating scandal ever. How many years now has the “investigation” been going on? No one disputes that it happened and the severity of it and yet ... where’s the punishment? It’s not coming. Ever. Yet our BB program was accused of giving some free gear out and Gary Parrish goes on a witch hunt and we were, justifiably, shaking in our boots at what might happen to us. And many believe, including myself, that it greatly impacted BB recruiting and we are seeing/feeling the effects of that now. As much as I LOVE College FB & BB, I despise/hate the sham of the NCAA, it’s selective regulation of the goings on of its members. As a G5 alum, they make passionately supporting my school and watching/enjoying both sports in its national entirety more emotionally challenging. I hate injustice, and that’s the NCAA’s middle name.

The only solution for us fans is to boycott everything P5 and only support G5 / our school.

From Today's LA Times:
This is a little bit of Bull $#!+. USC is the most Scandal-Plagued campus in America. Gynecologist George Tyndall had sexually abused hundreds of young patients over a period of three decades. Singer helped wealthy and, in some cases, famous parents sneak their academically underqualified children into SC. Tony Bland didn't help, but the Trojans problems started long ago. OJ Mayo, Reggie Bush, OJ Simpson, etc.... How can you damage something that is already destroyed?

Depends on the judge. Some always follow a plea deal, some do most of the time, and some do their own thing. Hopefully for him it's the former. Pardon me, do you know this from experience or are you in law?

Some jail time seems to be in his future. That’s what I’m thinking too. You knowingly took bribes... sounds pretty bad to me.

Two years probation and 100 hours community services seems pretty light. But he is going to have to find a new line of work.

Such a shame. A quality guy who got caught up in the bright lights. I hope it's not the last we hear from him. Quality guy? Hmmm conspiracy, mail fraud, bribery. I hope it is the last we hear of him. 💯 You obviously don't much about him or this story. If you knew what Bland had to go through growing up and how he much he has done since then you wouldn't be making these comments. BTW, why are the head coaches at USC, UA, and others still working with no penalties yet? Incredible. Are they just going to make a few scapegoats out there and let everyone else off the hook?

Two years probation and 100 hours community services seems pretty light. But he is going to have to find a new line of work. This is a white collar crime with a very limited set of victims. I don’t think that the sentence was light compared such crimes. But he’s taking a heavy financial penalty. His highest earning years are behind him.

He might be able to get larger bribes later 😜

Arizona AC, Book Richardson from Arizona gets 3 months + two years probation. The more you spend, the more time you get.
